Well the mystery of the Christmas presents has been solved. What he "made" me was a very pretty two-sided silver picture frame... One side had a picture of us in it, the other side had a winter picture in that I took, but printed over the picture was a poem that he had wrote. It was very sweet. :)

He also got me these, which I absolutely love. He did very good this Christmas. I'm a lucky girl! :beating:

Awesome gifts , I got my fave boots for xmas even though we live in the warmer climate I LOVE boots so I was super excited for that too. Hope every one is well.

Today, after the one last piece of pumpkin pie and one last cookie that I consumed for breakfast(shameful I know :blush5:), I am BACK ON TRACK!

I have not weighed myself, and I'm probably not going to for a few days. I need a couple days to get my head back in the game before I see that number. lol! Because it's going to be BAAAAAAD! haha! I was so incredibly horrible this week.

BUT... today is a new day.. and it's back to the routine! I hope everyone had a great holiday. :)

Very true. Any weight I have put on is just a temporary setback anyway. It will come back off.


I'm a little above where I wanted to be today, I'm at about 1700 calories. Considering how I have been eating the last week or so though, that's pretty good! Tomorrow should be better, especially since I wont be starting the day out with pie and a cookie. lol!

Well I got brave this morning and stepped on the scale. 199! So, I went up 4 lbs, which is not as bad as I was thinking it would be. I was afraid it was going to be more like 7 or 8 lbs. So, I'm happy. :)

I woke up this morning not feeling too great though. My throat hurts, and I'm coughing a little bit. I'm pretty sure my son shared his cold with me. Such a sweet boy, he is! lol!

Well, last night definitely did not go as planned. We ended up taking a spontaneous trip to Traverse, which included eating out. So, yesterday was a 2000 calorie day, instead of the 1400 calorie one I had been planning on.

Today is going pretty good though. My throat feels a little better too. So, that's good. Hopefully I'll have kicked this cold by tomorrow. :)
 
Good news on the scale. Bad news is you gave me your sore throat through some sort of internet virus. AVG should have caught that.

So, I decided that my New Years resolution is going to be ...DUN DUN DUN.......to exercise. *shrieks of horror*

SIGH. I hate it already. hahaha! I know I really need to do it though, and I'm going to start off slow with 3 times a week. It might be the treadmill or it might me an exercise video. I don't know. I'm going to try to switch it up though, so I don't get bored. Although the only video I have right now is a Jillian Michaels one I think, and last time I did it I nearly died. haha! I was like 50lbs heavier at the time though, so it might be a little easier now? Let's hope so anyway!

YAY!!!! Under 200!!! good for you girl!!!

Being under 200 is the best feeling ever! Well maybe not "the best", but it's up there. haha! My goal is to never see a "2" in front of my weight again. I'll feel a little better when I get down into the low 190's, and have a little breathing room. That will be nice. :)
 
197.0 this morning. Yesterday ended at 1372 for calories. I'm not really sure how today is going to go though, being that it's New Years Eve and all. I'll probably have a few drinks tonight, and maybe some snacks. Hopefully it doesn't throw me off too much. I'm going to try to keep it to a minimum.

Exercise huh? I'm a little fortunate in that I've always kinda enjoyed exercise, which makes me wonder why the hell I stopped for so long. I guess I'm dumb.

At least for starters, try and find something you enjoy like chasing your kids around the neighborhood or dancing or running from the police. Just don't get a trampoline. We've all watched enough youtube to know what happens next when you do that.
 
haha...I'm SOOO not jumping on a trampoline. With my luck I would surely end up on Youtube and/or in the hospital..lol. Building snowmen, snow forts, and a good snow ball fight are definitely going to be included though.
 
:jump: I loved having a trampoline as a kid. I might be inclined to have one again if I didn't exceed the weight limit :(

You and I are both getting the old exercise ball rolling with the new year. It should be easier for you as I have to exercise for the both of me.
