Jen's Diary of Random Stuff

Hey Jen, sorry I've not been by lately. Had some stress and felt I should keep my crabby attitude to myself, lol I've been bad though, escaping on the video games and eating junk food. Reigning it in now though lol. Shhh...we won't talk about the toaster strudel breakfast..... Anyway hope all is well on your end :)

Well my sweetie went home today. He was gonna go home yesterday but there was a big ice storm, so I got to keep him another day...which was nice. We had lots of fun....dinners, movies, and lots of laughing. It was a good time. :) So tomorrow is back to business with the whole diet and exercise thing. I have to reacquaint myself with my treadmill, we haven't spoken in a while, so hopefully it goes well...lol! I also need to start eating better, I've been eating horribly for a while now, so that needs to change ASAP. A warning to all: I might be a grumpy b**ch the next few days. Don't get too close, I might bite... Especially if you smell like chocolate. Hopefully you guys are doing good though and DON'T smell like chocolate. :smilielol5:

Your sweetie didn't go home - he was home when he was there with you. Now he's just sitting in his parent's house, waiting to come back home to you and his little angels.

:beating:

I had fun too. It was honestly the best week I've ever had in my entire life. And it's all thanks to you. Thank you, honey. I'll see you again soon. And, when I do, I'm going to give you all a huge hug and kisses, ok? OK?!?!?!?! :cuss:

You MIGHT be? Oh, honey...you're so funny. :p

Aww... You're welcome Honey. And.....ok :)

You MIGHT be? Oh, honey...you're so funny. :p

Watch it, or you MIGHT wake up with one eyebrow in a couple weeks :Angel_anim:

So I've decided that I really need to work on my time management skills. They suck. LOL! With getting kids ready for school, dropping them off, picking them up, running errands, working from home, housework, homework, dealing with my mom (I don't even know where to begin on that one :cuss:), dinner, bathtime...and the list goes on.. I think I need to make myself a schedule. I really hate to do that, because I hate schedules, and tend not to follow them...I'm a very laid back "go with the flow" type person, but I think one is needed...at least a loose one. Especially if I want to get everything done...especially work and exercise. OR...I need to start getting up earlier and getting the treadmill out of the way in the morning....ugh...that is so NOT appealing. Honestly there's a better chance of me winning the lottery, than that happening. I need my sleep! Sooooo.. I think this weekend I'm going to sit down and try to make a schedule, and have it ready to start using on Monday. Of course there will be time allotted for browsing the forum on the schedule..hahaha. :blush5:

Monday-Friday:

6:30am - Hit snooze, get up, get daughter up and ready for school
8:00am- Drop daughter off at school
8:15am- Breakfast/ get son ready for school
8:45am- Check the forum for a few:) and then work
12:00pm- Get son on the bus
12:15pm- Treadmill/Lunch/possibly more work
3:05pm- Pick kids up from school
3:15pm- Snack/ light housework/help with homework/ possible errands/ generally running around like a chicken with my head cut off.
5:45pm- Make dinner and eat
7:00pm- Shower time/Cuddle time with kids
8:00pm- Bedtime for kids/relax time for me
11:30pm- Bedtime for me

Saturdays- Work/ Grocery shopping
Sundays- Clean the house really good/Relax

This still needs a lot of tweaking and isn't written in stone, by any means..lol. I might take a day off from the treadmill during the week and do it on the weekend instead, for example, but I'll work that out later. I just wanted to get this down, so I have it somewhere. Oh, and according to this schedule I'm supposed to be working right now...I'm not off to a good start. I told you I wasn't good at schedules! :smilielol5:

HAHAHHAA.... I love people that Google weird stuff! It helps my work go by so much faster. My job is to basically read stuff that people Google, and decide whether or not it could be worked into a usable article title for a writer.....it's a little more complicated than that, but that's the basic idea. Soooo.... I see a lot of weird stuff...because people google a LOT of weird stuff..hahahha! Some funny, some down right sick and disturbing.

So here's my "Funny Work Find of the Day" so far....

"Can You Kill Mermaids by Frying Them Under Heat Lamps?"

HAHAHHA....what? Maybe it has to do with a game? I don't know. I hope so, or someone has issues...HAHAHA!

I can't help but notice there's no time set aside for your loving boyfriend. It's ok...I can take a hint. :sniffle:

Hmm...8PM is no good for me. We'll have to reschedule. Tell your people to call my people and set something up, mmmkay?

Well I'm definitely feeling kind of sore from exercising yesterday...lol! I haven't done it in a while, and I am feeling it this morning. Well that and the fact that I woke up this morning laying perfectly straight, on my side, cramped, with no pillows. Who had my pillows, you ask? My children...one on each side. Sigh. They looked so comfortable!! ... Me? not so much!! I didn't even hear them get in bed with me last night. Sneaky little devils! My neck hurts so bad....they could at least leave me a dang pillow!! Geesh!! :smilielol5:

So, I went to the store yesterday and got some stuff to eat this week for lunches. And in doing so, pissed my mom off probably...so even better! hahaha! She likes to say.."soooo...what are you fixing me for lunch??" every... single... day. Well I got stuff she doesn't like...hahaha. Fix your own damn lunch mom! Awww..that's NOT nice of me. She's driving me nuts though. She needs a double knee replacement and basically does nothing but sit at home and bark orders at me while playing facebook games..lol! (If you play Frontierville...she would LOVE to be your neighbor!!! HAHAHA!) Siiiigh...anyways...she won't be happy...lol. She's not in a dieting mode right now. She's one of those people that expects everyone in the house to be on a diet when she's on one. She actually told me a few weeks back that if I didn't stay on a diet with her she was quitting because she had NO willpower to do it by herself... She's the Queen of guilt trips...hahaha. BUT...if she's NOT on one and you ARE....she doesn't care and eats all kinds of crap in front of you. That doesn't really bother me...but she sends me to get the crap too....THAT bothers me. She doesn't do the shopping, I do(because of her knees), so I get to wander around the ice cream and candy aisles while I'm on a diet and buy stuff for HER. AHHH...It's torture....lol!

So, besides my mom driving me nutty, I feel pretty good. Looking forward to getting on the treadmill. I charged my music player, it died about half way through yesterday. I swear time goes by a million times slower without music, so I made sure it was charged today..lol. Gonna go finish my work, eat lunch and then go walk away some stress. Have a great day! :)

Oh, your mom does nothing but sit in front of the computer and look at Facebook? I hadn't noticed :rolls eyes:

Anyway, don't let your mom interfere with the good work you've been doing. If she sends you to the store for ice cream or expects that you make her something for lunch, other than what you're making for yourself, just tell her "NO." She may be your mother, but that doesn't mean you're responsible for doing everything for her. She can do stuff for herself. She's not confined to her chair. I mean, she didn't have a problem getting up and grabbing herself seconds when I made you guys fried chicken, did she? HAHAHA, nope. See? She's fine. :p

when the music isn't an option, I try to set a goal that is distance versus time, and i spend all that time trying to make sure i match the goal i set for myself. So for instance if i want to do 30 min, i may set a goal of like 3.5 miles, and then i spend all my time trying to make sure i hit i never really think about how long it took as much as i am think i have enough time to hit the goal! hope that helps.. (when the music player is down)
