Hey all. School started on Monday...fun fun. Between my most exciting Math Class, Early Morning Anatomy Class, and my really long and information overload human development class I have been super busy. Oh and I now have job on campus when I am not in class. I am working in the Student Activites office...very interesting experience lets just say. I really have exercised in the past 3 days. Been busy doing home work and going to Physical Therapy. Physical Therapy ended yesterday..I offically graduated. My knee is 3x of of it was 4 weeks ago. My quad muscles are still a little weak though. I was told to really work on them for the next few weeks at home to get them up to par. They told me my hamstrings are really strong so that is good.

I managed to get some exercising in this evening...not much but some. Not sure how much this will effect my weigh-in day tomorrow...we'll see..

Exercises:
100 sittups
20 inner thigh squeezes
20 butt ups
10 inner thigh stretches with toning tube (10 for each leg)

Hey Jenny!

Congrats on finishing PT. Sounds like you were pretty bust with that plus school, work and trying to fit some exercise in.

How'd the weigh in go? I'm up about 5 lbs from my low due to the holidays but I'm working hard to get it off.

Just do what you can when you can.

Congrats on graduating the therapy! & on the new job. Exciting POSITIVE times for you it seems. Im so glad. You deserve some joy & comfort.

Good Day all!! Well today was weight in day. I have dropped 2lbs since last week. I was suprise just because I didn't think I did well at all this week. 20 push ups
20 inner thigh squeezes
20 butt ups
10 inner thigh stretches w/ toning tube (10 each leg)

Well yesterday was my 20th birthday. I can't believe another year has gone by. I have officially been on this site for a year. Man where has the time gone.

It just seems like yesterday I was only 17 and was traveling to europe at the end of my junior year of high school. It just seems like yesterday that I graduated from high school. It just seems like yesterday that I was starting my first year of college...

During all of this time I have done a lot of growing in many ways. I have changed as a person. Mostly for the good.

Last night I got the best birthday present I could ever ask for. Before I tell you what it is that I got I will have to explain the whole story of how this all came to be about. Well 2 and a half years ago I went to Europe like I said i few lines up. Well during this time I met a boy. He is from PA. My group from Ohio met up with this group from PA for our entire trip. Well to make a long story short we hung out the entire trip and became really good friends. We have kept in touch over the past 2 and a half years through e-mails, letters, postcards, myspace/facebook, and instant messaging. We never really upgraded to phone calls. So I haven't seen this guy or vocally talked to him in almost 3 years. Well we have been going back and forth trying to convice eachother to call oneanother.

Well this guy promised me the other day online that he was going to call me and wish me a happy birthday. Well I waited all day yesterday and got on call from him. I was disappointed but figured he had a good reason for not calling (which he did). Well anyways, about 1:30 last night we were talking online and all of a sudden my phone starts to ring and it's his number on the Caller ID. Yes he called me. We talked till 4:10 in the morning!!!! almost 3 hours!!!

You would think after not talking to eachother for almost 3 years it would be really hard to get back into the swing of things when it comes to a conversation...well obviously it wasn't a problem for us. We didn't miss one beat. I have discovered that we have much more in common than I originally thought. How can 2 people relate to eachother so much after not seeing eachother in 3 years?? Well needless to say I had a blast talking to him and I can't stop thinkg about our conversation. I can't stop smiling!! We have agreed that we are going to call eachother more often because it was just way too much fun.

So I definately think that 20 is going to be my year...things have started of great for me....I can't wait!!

Hey everyone..man it's been about 2 weeks since I have posted..almost 3! I have been quite busy with school and work. I have basically gotten caught up in life once again. Haven't really spent much time on exercising. My mom's been getting on my case about it lately.

Well I did get 30 minutes of exercising in today consiting of:
100 sittups
20 squats
20 butt ups
20 push ups
20 inner thigh squeezes

and a few other little things

I have some new motivation...of which I am really excited about.

I have been looking around for employment options for this summer. My parents have been pestering me about getting a full time job for the summer and have enough money saved up by the end of summer to move out and into an apartment. Well I think that wish of theirs is going to come true.

I am 90% sure that I am working at Cedar Point this summer. Cedar point is about 2 hours and 40 minutes for my house. Now obviously I will not be driving 3 hours to and from work for $7.20 an hour 7 days a week. I will be living in Sandusky in the Cedar Point Housing for employees.

How this all started and came about is that this past friday I got an e-mail from my school. My school puts out employment opportunities e-mails to all students. This e-mail stated that reps from cedar point were to be on campus Monday...which was today. I stopped by there today and they actually interviewed me on the spot. The lady who interviewed me said that she really liked me and that all I needed to do is submit my online application so that she has it and that she will do the required back ground check. I should hear with in the next 2 weeks if I got the job. I am pretty sure that I do have the job. I am so excited...wish me luck!!!

Sexy Sexy new avatar!! :drool5:

And exciting news on the employment front. Good Luck!

I'm looking for a new job myself so wish me luck as well!!

Hey alls!

Well i am officially hired to work at Cedar Point this summer. I first day is June 16th the monday after finals week. I'm so excited. This new job is giving me a big kick in the butt to start and exercise. It's been a hellish quarter for me...school's not treating me all that well. :( Lets hope this spring quarter things go a lot better. Since this quarter has been so crappy I haven't really exercised all that much. I lost my drive for it :( I think my new job will jump start all of this again. I did some exercising today so it's a start.

100 sittups
40 butt ups
40 inner thigh squeezes
40 push ups
40 squats
15 minute mile walking dvd

My knee is treating me well. I haven't had any problems with it since my surger which was 3 months ago on friday. I went through 4 weeks of physical therapy and that went well. Now all i got to do is keep myself from having and hard impacts on it or reinjuring it. So exercising does scare me a bit. I don't want to mess my knee up again. But my doctor says I should be ok just as long as I'm extra carefull and not be rough on it.

I'm an open book right now for tips, advice on exercising...or even dieting..yes i said dieting..before I wasn't to big on it..i just pretty much watched what I ate and how much...but if I could get even healthier it might help a tad bit more.

I have a little over 4 months until my summer job...so lets see...mabye 25lbs is a good goal? or do you think I can achieve more?

Well I will talk to you later...fun math homework is calling....
