Good Afternoon! I just got home from work for the afternoon. It is now 1:30. I will have to go back into work at 4 later this afternoon. I tried to post this morning but unfortunately the site was down. I was going to go on a walk this morning but when I awoke at 8am it was snowing! When it finally decides to snow and not rain it's on a morning I was going to walk. Then I looked at the temp. BRRR cold outside and plus that windchill...Brrrrr. So I forgot about the walk and did sittups instead. Then when I got to work I had to bust my butt all morning...and then the GFS order came in so I had to unload all the boxes of food and put them away in their correct places. This morning I had a bowl of cereal with skim milk. Water through out the afternoon. And I just ate a turkey sandwich on wheat bread with a few grapes and carrots:) I hope everyone is having a great afternoon! Time for me to do my work out and then relax before I must go back into work....:(
 
You seem to be heading down the right path. Good for you. Isn't nice when the scale starts going down? I was stuck around 180 for so long that I forgot how to read it when I broke into the 170s! LOL:rolleyes:

We're the same height, and it's great you started young. I'm 30 and it's a struggle.

Hi Jenn!! Sorry to hear about your co-worker's mom - that sucks!
Great job finding something to to do other than walking instead of just hanging it all up for the day. Woo! :D:D
 
Ya I guess his mom has had a bad heart condition for sometime now...she is 63. I guess when she was like 33-34?? when she had my co-worker she had a triple bipass surgery! One of my other co-workers called him last night to check up on him and he was crying...and his is like 25! So things don't look to good as of right now...but who knows maybe she'll pull through.

Ya instead of going on that walk I did some sittups. And then this afternoon I did some more...i'm up to 240sittups for they day. Yesterday I did 400! As this week progresses I can do 40 in a row rather than just 20 without feeling out of breath or tired. So I have upped my sittup production. about an hour ago I decided to lay down and take a short nap. With getting up early and exercising and work I was tired. Now I am just here drinking hot chocolate and getting ready for work a 4. Since I had to work this afternoon I will prob be done around 7:30~8ish and won't have to work till 10pm tonight.:)

Ok I just got home from work AGAIN! But today was pay day so I'm a little bit richer :D Today has been a pretty good day. I worked a lot but I need the money so it's not so bad. I have to work tomorrow night too. So far today I have done 240 sittups...will make it 400 before I go to sleep. 20 push ups. 30 of this inner thigh things. All with my gymball. I have enformed some of my co-works of what I was planning to do and they seem to be very supportive. So wish they has such the will power that I have. Lets hope that will power will stay with me for a long time. Maybe if the weather is nicer tomorrow I will go on that walk that I had to miss out on this morning. I felt good after that walk. I need to do that either every other day or every day. Or when ever the weather is good. Well I will be around for a while. I got the house to myself for a while and it's boring as can be.
 
ya! i'm amazed of how well i am doing. part of my new motivation is that i put this picture as my background on my computer. There is one of the before pics of me. And next to it it says:

I have tried multiple times to lose weight. After about a month into it I stop. But this time...something is different about this time. I'm not sure what it is, but something is definately different.:)
 
That's how I knew I was going to lose the weight too - I KNEW this was different :)

Good Afternoon everyone! I have been up for quite some time now but I have been busy doing house work and haven't had the chance to post. I finished my sittups last night. 400 of them! I might up it to 500 today if I feel like I can do it. I also might go on a walk later this afternoon. The weather is much nicer today than it was yesterday. So far today I had a bowl of cereal with skim milk and some water. So far for exercise I would have to say...folding 2 big baskets of landuary, putting away all of the landuary, doing the dishwasher, and wiping down the counters. I am going to do my sittups here shortly. I have to go into work at 4 so I only have 3 hours.:)
 
you are doing really well i am very impressed with the sit ups your abs will be huge soon :] have you tried using a medicine ball to increase the intensity? i use one when i do situps and it increases the work load therefore increasing the amount of calories i burn. just a suggestion as you are doing mint without hun!

Ya well before I can notice my abs...this big old pudge of fat needs to go byebye! I might have to get a medicine ball and try that out.

I talked to my sister on the phone today. I mentioned to her about losing a few lbs. She was happy for me. She asked me what I have been doing for exercise. I told her about my sittups and using a gymball. She was like I wish I could lose weight that fast from sittups. I'm doing 400 daily right now...and it's only been a week. She's like my abs can't take that. So I asked her how many she does when she does sittups. She's like 100. I told her to double it. She's like I can't my abs can't handle that many. I asked her how many she is doing in a row. She's like I do all of them at once...the entire 100. I said do them in reps of 20...but then she's like if I do them in reps of 100 I get more of a work out...(true) but I told her that if she works up to that in reps of 20-40 and take a 1-2 minute break between the reps you will be able to do 200 in a day. She's like that doesn't work. (i'm like screaming in my head at this point...what do you mean I doesn't work...it's working for me!)

After hanging up the phone I thought to myself that my sister really wants to lose her extra weight, but she is finding excuses not to workout. Whether the fact that she doesn't have the time, or she just doesn't like to...or that she CAN'T to the exercises. When she comes home this next weekend I am going to talk to her...sister to sister. Maybe I can shed some light on what I have been thinking about this past week/month on my health, weight, and exercise. I know she needs to lose weight as much as I do. I just hope she can wake up and realize it.

Hi Tammy! Ya I am doing great...I feel great too. I'm suprised about my attitude. I really think this time around will be different. You have a great weekend too!

I got home from work around 9ish. I did a pretty good job at work once again. I stayed away from all the greasey foods. I did eat something up there but not much...a few chicken tenders. I also managed to stay away from pop. I had a water and a gatorade while at work tonight. I am half way done with my 400 sittups tonight...I will finish them before I go to bed tonight. I think I might get up early tomorrow and go on a walk. I didn't go on a walk this afternoon...i kinda got sidetracked with house work. So ya today has been overall a pretty good day.

I'm with you girl, in terms of weight and appearance. Hoping to be your weight soon. I can see by your smile that you have a lovely personality.

I am just two weeks in. At my weight, a nice friend said "just walk". I do that because I think that is something I can do everyday. I think you are doing too much.

But since you have put this on project status I hope your whole family can participate.

Man I wake up this morning and what do I find???:confused: SNOW!:) There is a thin layer of snow outside! Not enough to go sledding though:( But I just wanted to wish you all a good morning and tell ya about my little white discovery!
 
ooo...new weather update...my mom says that we are to be getting 2-4inches of snow tonight!!!! WOOT...then she's like ya how important is your first class tomorrow morning? cause I don't think I want you driving on the roads with snow on them...lol yay!
 
Jenny I finally found your thread! Good job on the progress made thus far! I know I should be doing exercise like you are, but I'm just too darn lazy.
And I'm so jealous of you...it doesn't look like it's going to snow around here anytime soon! :(
