Hello,
I'm new at posting but would like to try keeping an online journal to see if it helps. They say that losing the weight is 90% in the head and 10% in the body. (At least that's what I've heard!). I've been on this weight loss journey now for about 13 weeks and have dropped 38 pounds. I've been on this boat before though. I am the yo-yo queen! The difference now is that after 14 years of being an "at home Mom", I started working at Curves. It's a workout place for women and I think it's made a huge difference for me. Not just physically but mentally as well. There is so much support from all the women. I do feel a little on display at times but maybe that's what I need. I have 60 more pounds to go. I started out at 264 lbs. I'm tall so I think that a final weight of 165 - 168 lbs will be a good place for me to stop. I'm keeping track of my body fat too. It's currently at 38% but my goal is 22 -23%. My diet is low carb but I'm figuring out how to incorporate more fiber into it. I am still having some fruits and lots of veggies, lean meats etc. and working out 5-6 times a week. Three at Curves and 2-3 days at home on the treadmill. I want so desperately to make it work this time and not sabotage myself. So, you are all along for the ride on this one last weight loss journey with me. Welcome aboard! Glad to have you along.
