Well I'm back and I've got 2 and a half months to get a bikini body for my honeymoon. With my job I've been finding it difficult to get out of bed in the mornings and find time to exercise. I finish work at midnight and usually i stay up for a few hours afterwards and end up sleeping late, then rushing through my housework to go to work. So my goal this week is to go to bed when I get home, and not get a taxi to work at all this week.
The plan is, get up at 9am (still gotta get my 8 hours sleep). Have big drink of water. Use my swiss ball for 30 minutes, exercise bike for 20, then stretch for 10. At 10am have a big breakfast (as with my hours i don't get a proper dinner). Then housework, shower, relax if theres time. Have a small lunch at 1pm. Start walking to work at 1.45. Dinner break is around 7pm, have something light and a small snack when I get home, then straight to bed.
I'm going to try to have 5 + fruit and veges a day.
Tomorrows meals:
Breakfast:
1 cup of steamed veges (broccoli and cauliflower)
1 fillet of fish
1 apple

Lunch:
handful of strawberries
1 slice of bread with marmite (no butter)

Break:
1 banana
1 yoghurt

after work:
1 raw carrot
small glass of low fat milk

As with last time I'm expecting to feel tired and hungry for the first week. But I have to keep reminding myself that after that initial adjustment period I felt great. When i'm not eating i'm going to chew sugarfree gum to help take my mind of food.

Well, my first day and I slept in!! I woke up at 10:30, but I did my exercise and worked up quite a sweat. It's 11:45 now and I'm starting breakfast. I'm eating an apple now, my fish and veges are cooking and I'm feeling positive!
better get on to the housework I guess.

Thanks guys. Its that kind of encouragement I came back here for. I love you guys!!:eek: (*gets all emotional*).

Well I did ok yesterday, well I messed up but not too badly for my first day!
After work I had 2 beers and bowl of corn (well its veges, but wasn't on my list). Also I had 2 pieces of chocolate at work.

Today: Woke up a little earlier today at 10am. I did my exercises until 10:50.
For breakfast I had a handful of strawberries and 2 slices of bread with tuna and spring onions and a teeny scraping of mayo. Total of 270 calories. My plan for the rest of the day is:
Lunch: 1 apple, large bowl of grated carrot and beetroot salad, with red onion and weight watchers honey mustard dressing.

Walk to work 45min (in the rain :( )
At work: 1 yogurt, 1 banana

After work: slice of bread with marmite
 
Woo hoo honey good to see you back, don’t leave us again maintenance is one of the hardest parts of weight loss so no more running off for you ok lol runs wagon past jen and picks her up. Were off to see the wizard
 
Good morning just popped in to see how you were. Your food and excercise look amazing. I wouldnt worry about looking good in that bikini that shouldnt be a problem at all the way you are going. Good job. Anyway have an excellent day today!!
 
I was bad again yesterday, gonna have to have more will power at work!
While I was there i ate 1 and a half donuts, a few marinated mussels, some ham and 1 yoghurt. after work i had 2 boiled baby potatoes. Damn donuts. I need to make sure I stick to my menu!

Woke up at 9am today, yay! I did 45 mins of exercise, though I don't think i put enough effort in, so I'm going to jump back on the exercycle shortly before I have my shower. I've got to go to a meeting today at 1:30, so I'll leave at 12noon and have my lunch in town.

Breakfast:
1 banana
1 kiwifruit

Lunch:
a subway wrap

Break:
1 yoghurt
small in of tuna

Afterwork:
I think steves cooking a chicken tonight so probably a chicken sandwich.

Not looking forward to this meeting, my boss hates me and shes on a bit of a war-path at the moment.
 
Ok, still finding work my hardest time to diet, I'm yet to stick strictly to my menu, but I'm not going to let myself give up. How do you guys cope during you toughest times of the day? Any tips anyone? Today I'm going to try to have a peice of gum in my mouth at all times to remind me when ever I think about putting anything in my mouth.
Today I've done a good work out on the ball and exercycle. For breakfast I've had a kiwifruit and a chicken sandwich with weight watchers honey mustard dressing. Total around 350 calories.
My Lunch will be an apple. 60cals and a hard boiled egg 80cals. Then I'm walking to work.

At work:
1 yoghurt (100)
1 banana (80)

Afterwork: probably another sandwich.
 
Jen my worst parts of the day is
1: around 11am I start to want to put something in my mouth so I have a piece of stone fruit because it seems to ward off the hunger until lunch.

2: around 3-4 o’clock I have found some really good low fat dip biscuits and I have about 30g of them or some other low fat munchies. Wholegrain rolls or bread are really good for keeping the hunger away also bananas seem to help.

I messed up again!!! For dinner at work I had a yoghurt and a chocolate mousse, and I had some roses chocolates, after work I had a beer.
Today I've had an apple after 45 minutes of exercise. Shortly I'm going to have a tuna sandwich with a scraping of thousand island dressing and red onion. Before I go to work I'm going to have a hard boiled egg.
Total 250 cals
At work, since I seem to struggle with hunger I'm going to have a banana, a yoghurt and a scoop of potato salad. total around 300cals. This allows for either if I can't control my snacking urges or a meal after work if I stick to it. At least I'm behaving myself with my exercise, I haven't missed a workout yet and I've walked to work everyday.:)
 
Jenny...remember the secret to dieting is not depriving yourself completely,the secret is practicing portion control.

When I get the munchies, I keep my hands busy, chew gum, or drink water, that seems to help! Oh, and (i know this is extreme) but I sometimes brush my teeth, who wants to eat after the taste of toothpaste??
 
Thanks guys, I did a bit better yesterday, a had a couple of jaffas (small orange flavoured chocolates). For dinner I had 1 banana and one yoghurt. After work I had a bowl of chicken curry that Steve made and a sandwich with tuna.
Today I slept in until midday!!! Its my day off today so oh well! I've done my exercise but still haven't had breakfast and its 1:20pm. So I'm going to have a tin of pea and ham soup (lowfat). Then I better get myself organised and clean the house and relax.
 
Just dropping in to see how yore going and it looks like your pretty quiet hmmm.
The problem with the kiwis and the Aussies is we like our drink to much ay.
