Jenn's Diary

Update

So I did manage to walk to the grocery store on my lunch to get stuff for supper. Only 20mins, but very fast paced as it is darn cold and lots of snow!

Anyhow, for my update......
I decided to do the spaghetti and meatball thing for supper. Picked up some Catelli Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Lean Italian Style Meatballs (store brand). The funny thing is I checked out the Schneider's Oh Naturel Meatless Meatballs, and they are point wise the same as the lean meatballs I bought. So in order to keep peace in my home, I decided to go with meat meatball instead of meatless.

Next update. Perhaps this isn't new to some people, but I searched Weight Watchers Points Calculator on line and found it free! This is so handy for me, because I never remember to take my sliding calculator with me. I can make healthy choices, even when I'm just grabbing something on my lunch hour.

So supper points breaks down like this........
1/4 box WW spaghetti - 5pts
4 Lean Meatballs - 4pts
Spaghetti Sauce - 0 pts
Total - 9pts

Add that to my menu listed in my diary earlier today and the total points for today is: 15pts. Lots of room for a second helping of supper, if so desired.

I was just soooo excited when I found all this info, I just had to share.

I'll let you all know if the scales are kind tomorrow! P.S. already up to 112oz of water today, with 3 hours left of work! Yeah!!:D
P.P.S - when the other lady I work with arrived this morning, we made an executive decision and we threw out all the remaining chocloate, etc from the basket. I even went so far as to walk to the dumpster at our building, in the blizzard, and toss it in. LOL.

Great on both accounts!!

Not too much to say today. I spent too much time and energy defending myself on the Water Challenge forum............:(

Anyhow, back down to 180 today. Supper last night was awesome. Stayed within points range yesterday. Today, aiming for the same.

Breakfast: oatmeal, black coffee - 3pts
Lunch: tuna - 2pts
Supper: 3 chicken fingers w plum sauce, frozen peas, noodles - 12pts
Snack: 5 After Eights - 5pts (just so I can get them out of the house!)
Total: 22 pts
Water Goal - 96oz.

No walking today. Too stormy and cold. Will try to get in at least 150 sit-ups tonight. Didn't keep track, but did over 100 last night.:D

An After Eight is made by Nestle. It is a thin chocolate covered peppermint patty. Similiar to a Pep.... if you've heard of them. SOOOOOO YUMMY!;)

180 and holding

Haven't lost a darn thing since Saturday (except of course the one pound I gained earlier in the week). Didn't walk yesterday. However, I did manage to get in 150 sit-up, 25 pelvic tilts, 100 leg lifts. It's fun to do these exercises when your 2 yr old in imitating you. LOL.:p

Managed to get in 84oz of water yesterday, as well as stay within points range. Looking to get out for a walk at lunch time (will help with the cramps). Want to break the 180 mark by the end of the week. Hoping for another steller points day.

Breakfast: black coffee, fibre first cereal (1/2c) w 2% milk (1/2c) - 3pts
Lunch: tuna - 2pts
Supper: still working on it. Leaning towards lean ground beef fajitas, but for 2 they are 20 pts. So I may substitute my wraps for rice, which would bring it to 15 pts. I'll probably do the latter.
Snack: hot chocolate - 2pts; 3 After Eights (the last ones finally) - 3pts.
Total: 25 pts.

Finally broke 180!

Officially 179 today! Yippie! However, since it is now Friday, hoping I can stay on track and at least maintain that weight over the weekend. Did a lot of toning last night 225 sit-ups, 25 per leg hamstring curls, 25 pelvic tilts, and 75 per leg leg lifts. Also stayed within daily points range at 26 pts, and drank 84oz of water. Also got a 30min walk in. Good day!

Hope I do just as well today. Didn't get much sleep last night. The little guy is getting the nasty cough back. Was up at 4:30am with him this morning being sick, because he was trying to get all the crud out.

VERY SLEEPY! TGIF!

Hoping to stay on track this weekend, and (if the boy is feeling better) get a little outdoor activity. Maybe some skating or skiing. Will continue to tone. I want the rollie stomach to go away. I had a C-section when my son was born. So I really need to focus on my lower abs. If anyone has some good exercises, please let me know.

I will be able to stay in points range again today.
Breakfast: same - 3pts
Lunch: same - 2pts
Supper: vension sausage w diana sauce, noodles, corn - 15pts
Snack - Skinny Cow Fudgiscle - 2pts

Oh yeah. I forgot to mention, I'm thinking of joining a learn to run class in the spring - if I can get a few more pounds off. That would really give me a boost.;)

Have a good weekend everyone!

I didn't fair too badly this weekend, considering my son was sick the whole time. Sunday was hard. I did go over my point limit. Was down to 178.5 Saturday and Sunday, so considering I only gained .5lbs it's okay. I'll just have to make sure I don't let it happen again. Managed to get all my water in, so that was also a bonus. No real exercise Saturday, just grocery shopping and housework. Sunday we went skating for 20mins. A little toning was done as well. No exercise today. Had to get my son in to see the Doctor. Hopefully he will be better son. Missed lunch. Had a couple of Smarties and one mini Mars bar. I will stop that now.

Breakfast: same -3pts
Lunch: none - BAD!
Supper: not decided yet. Maybe some Calzones. Just have to see how many points they are. May have eggs instead. Something the boy can eat, without hurting his throat.

I'll check in tomorrow.

Not a great day yesterday. Stayed within range but poor choices. Will do better today. Won't be walking today, as it is to cold. Will get some toning in tonight. Pretty tired. My poor sick boy has been getting up every 2hrs at night with his horrible cough. I have no energy.

On the bright side, I'm down .5lb. Hope the pounds keep sliding off this week.:D

Breakfast: fibre first cereal w 2% milk - 3pts;
Lunch: tuna - 2pts;
Supper: Calzone - 14pts;
Snack: hot chocolate - 2pts.

I hope your bot gets to feeling better. We just got over that and got he flu. Can't win for losing sometimes. And CONGRATS on the loss!!:)

Hi there, I'm a first-timer to your diary! I just took a few minutes and got myself up to speed. I also just joined the forum this month and it really is an awesome place to find support. Sounds like you're doing great. I've never tried WW, but I know a lot of people who have had tremendous success with it (My mom being one - she lost 34 lbs). Way to go on getting out of the 180s! Milestones feel terrific. :) Hope your son is feeling well soon.

I'M A SLACKER!:mad:

I haven't done any excerises since Sunday. It's been too cold to walk, and I've been too tried at night to do any toning. I need to get back in the groove. The boy is doing better. Still up a lot at night, so not getting a good night's sleep. Stayed within points range yesterday, but did not move on the weigh scale. This could be a good thing, because it find the week after TOM is when I have the binge eating and gain the weight - not during. Weird. So the fact that the scale has not gone up is good.

I will tone tonight - may even do pilates.

Breakfast - same - 3pts;
Lunch - tuna - 2pts;
Supper - vension sausage, beans, noodles - 17pts (approximate, will have to double check the bean pts)

I would like to hit 175 by Friday. Don't think it's going to happen, but worth the try:rolleyes:

You're doing super with the weight loss! Don't rush yourself. There's nothing wrong with the amount you've lost so far.
Glad to hear your little boy is doing better!
