That is too funny! Chocolate and salt. Why can't they each be their own healthy food group? The 3-5pm time is such a danger zone isn't it?

Maybe if we had pools and pool boys we could get the fix another way each day.
 
Chocolate...Yummy. You know what we do? My dads a diabetic so the only sweets he really ever eats is suger free candy. We have endless bags of sugar free chocolate, the little hershey bars and everything around the house. There still not the healthiest of choice, but there better then the other stuff for you, and they don't taste to far from the same. :D
 
Your dinner plan sounds like a good one. I hope it helps. I try to do that too, although I just do a few dinners at a time. Everytime I try a whole week something unexpected comes up and and then the meat goes bad! :)

I also like the way you find something good and something not so good about each day. It's that positive thinking that will get you ahead!
 
C and Patty: :eek: Naughty, Naughty girls! I think I just might have to go and get that twinny stick! LMAO. Pool boys! :p I was partial to lifeguards. I like a longer short on my men. I'm not all that fond of the banana hammock. There is lots to be said for leaving things to the imagination.

Actually my craving actually came at 3pm and I remember this because I was watching 90210 reruns on TVopolis. Brenda was fighting with Dylan in Mexico and I just needed some chocolate. Like OMG I was so worried that they were like going to totally break up. LMAO. Super cheese but I like watching it just like I watch those stupid Saved By the Bell Reruns! Oh and any Old School Degrassi episode I can get my hands on. I totally had it bad for Joey Jerimiah.....who is like totally bald now! lol. Oh but I am totally off track now! Oops got sucked into the 90's there for a second.


Alteredimage: I have never tried sugarfree chocolate. If you can promis me it tastes good I will go and locate some. As for the sugarfree candy I have tasted those and I like them. I just might go make a trip to the bulkzone.

Hi Moondance: Thanks for popping by my journal. Yes I try to stick to a weekly meal plan but yes this have a way of creeping into the schedule and mucking up the works. I'm not a big fan of rotten meat. lol

Sorry to hear you had a chocolate craving, I get them sometimes as well and it's a pain inthe backside!:mad:
 
Nope Crunch not going on a holiday. Other than going out to the cabin on weekends here and there I haven't been anywhere very intriguing.

What I am happy about!

Initial C I'm heading over to your Stomping grounds on October 2nd! Ok How happy am I? Aerosmith and Motley Crue are going to be playing in Toronto at the ACC! My friend and I are going! I totally love Aerosmith! And the fact that they are touring with Motley Crue just heightens my excitement! Yipee! Yes I am a rock and classic rock coniseur (sp). I'd choose rock over pop any day! Now I just have to get the tickets. Those tickets are going to sell out superfast!

You know - I'm on a pool deck 4 days a week. There are swimmers, water polo boys and olympians on deck wearing speedos all the time. Sometimes, I think they are getting smaller and smaller...and smaller...

And now my dear Miss Jenn, I will have banana hammock in my head as I oggle...I mean watch them ;)

As for the chocolate Jenn, sometimes it's purely medicinal. I have 4 chocolate bars in the cupboard above my computer. I know they're there. They're there for when I NEED them. They've been there for 3 months.

(And no one in my house KNOWS they're there - otherwise, they wouldn't be!)

ooOOooh. Aerosmith & Motley Crue. Lucky. I love Aerosmith's music. Motley Crue is a lil heavier than I'm used to though. How exciting. :D When do they go on sale do you know?

C: The tickets are on sale right now they went on sale today! I just purchased mine! Wooo hooo! The last really big concert I went to was (Don't laugh...... Ricky Martin) LMAO! I went with a close friend and he actually put on a really good show. Before that it was VanHalen with Gary Sherone from Extreme. Totally stunk! I know Motley Crue is heavier than Aerosmith but there probably do a lot of songs you didn't realize were theirs.

Anyway!

Sorry I haven't been around I have been at the cabin, and doing a lot of running around town groceries, shopping and stuff. I'm trying to reorganize my pantry and that is a chore. I keep having to run out to pick up more containers to put stuff in.


Well I started my no weighing myself for a month thing on friday. I cheated and weighed myself on Saturday but I haven't weighed myself since. It is so difficult not to get on that scale. I must get it out of the house pronto!

Well it sure has been a long time since I posted here. I have been busy getting ready for the new school year slowly introducing my son to his daycare, getting some shopping done since I don't fit many of my old work clothes yet. I appologize if I haven't been in very many journals or on the board period.


Reflection

I haven't been feeling to good about myself lately. Pretty down actually so that is another reason why I haven't be online very often either. Anyway I need to get back into the swing of things. My ticker is pretty much unchanged. I had hoped that those challenges that I participated in would have helped but sadly they have not.

I have started a new challenge for myself in hopes that things will turn around for me. Anyway I am doing the whole not weighting myself. So we will see what happens.

What I have done well

I have started to plan meals again. I use to do this all of the time and then stopped for some reason! So I am back to doing that again!

What I could have done better

Well I've been letting myself down a lot lately! I really haven't been doing exercise and this week I am so ravenous. It's seems to be out of control.

What am I going to do about it?

I am just going to try to eat my 30 points a day for one week and then do it again for another week!

And there it is!
