Glad to see you back - I had a feeling it was just work but then after a week I really started to worry. Have you been keeping up with Px90? I might not start it until after the wedding because I can't lose any more inches or else my dress will be too big. I still really want to do it though so I'll just have to find a better time.
At least if work is busy you are moving around more and burning more cals! You probably needed that extra rest too! Hope you have a good week and again good to hear from you!!
 
Its been a while since I have updated- work is so crazy, I thought it was getting better but its getting worse.

I will do a quick update:

I didn't do great on Friday or Saturday, between both days I had cookies, McDonalds fries, Pancakes and turkey sausage links.

On Sunday I ate well but I didn't workout all weekend.

Yesterday I woke up at 6:15am and went on my stepper for 40 minutes and burned 505 calories! I ate well all day and did the same thing today! So far my week is going well, I'm trying to do good from now until my Vegas trip which is 26 days away. I think I can do this. Here is what yesteday and today looked like- both days were the same:

6:15am- 40 minutes on the stepper 505 calories burned

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of scrambled egg beaters with sauteed onions and sun dried tomatos

Snack: ff yogurt and apple

Lunch: 3/4 cup dry cheerios and uncle bens bisto express

Snack: 1 cup of mango chunks

Dinner: stir fried veggies and lean cusine

Workout: P90X and turbo jam

Tomorrow should be a better day for catching up on everyone.
 
Yesterday wasn't too bad. A patient at work brought me homemade jam and I had a few spoon fulls on about 6 pieces of melba toast when I got home. I fell asleep after dinner and woke up at about 11pm and was too tired to workout and just went back to bed. I didn't feel too bad about it since I did the stepper in the morning. I got up again this morning- a little later today at 6:45 and did the stepper for 45 minutes and burned 575 calories. My body is aching from Turbo Jam on Monday but I'm going to push through it tonight and do my P90X. Food is going well today...here is how it looks:

6:45: 45 minutes on the stepper

Breakfast: egg white omlette and ff yogurt

Snack: 1/2 cup of sugar free apple sauce and 3/4 cup of dry cheerios

Lunch: uncle bens bistro express

Snack: banana

Dinner: steamed veggies and lean cusine

workout: P90X

hi Janvier I'm new to the site and I just wanted to thank you for your journal. It really has been a motivation for me. I started my weight loss journey at 168 and a VERY large size 10. BUT 2 years ago I started my weight loss journey of eating better and moving my body more resulting in an 18lb weight loss. However i've hit a plateau for awhile - I can empathize with a busy work schedule! I've decided to start p90x and was wondering how you like it? Again thanks so much for being such an inspiration for me your pictures are amazing! Keep up the great work I know you can reach your goal! Good luck.

Janvier, I haven't had the time to read everyone's journals. Just got the time and see that you are doing well. You haven't been updating much lately either. Hope all's well. Miss reading your updates.
 
3 weeks till VEGAS!! Plenty of time to get bikkini ready! Hope you've been better than me the last week - I've been horrible but I know what I have to do to get back and I'm ready!! My sisters forgot to bring my Px90 and said they could mail it but I don't think they have yet so I might just put it off since I don't feel ready to do it anymore. I'm going to concentrate on running till the half marathon and keep up with Kettle Bell. Eating is where I'm weak so I need to focus and get back to keeping a food log. Looking forward to hearing from you this week!! Yeah short work with with Canada Day!! Do you get Friday off too?
 
Hey Vegas must be getting so close! I'm guessing work is still really busy. Hope your staying healthy and in good spirits! Come back soon!

My lovley ladies: Lisa, Theresa, Njoyabl and Juni- I missed you girls SO much! :grouphug:

I am so sorry that I have been away so long...Work and this summer in general has been so crazy. Work has been so hecktic and the hours have been long and busy and my boss is constantly around me, hes on vacation right now- thank goodness- which is why I finally have time to come visit you ladies. My trip to Vegas was amazing! I had a blast and felt fairly good in my skin while I was there. I wore lots of bikinis and some sexy dresses that I would of NEVER worn at 189 lbs! I was 131 lbs the day I left...not bad but up 8 lbs from christmas! The craziest past of the whole trip for me was the fact that I got hit on by HOT guys! If anything that was a huge confidence boost for me and it stopped all of my self-conscience thoughts in their tracks...now if I could just find some hot guys at home to hit on me I'll be set lol. I'll have to post some pics soon. I kinda watched what I ate while I was there but I focused on having fun and didn't workout at all. A week after I came home I had a younger cousin come visit me from Texas for almost 3 weeks, I was busy entertaining her, taking her out to amusement parks and out for food...my eating was plain old crappy the whole time she was here, I worked out maybe 3 times in that 3 weeks! The only upside is that we went jogging, shes a jogger and pushed me to try it and I was so greatful, I loved it! I felt so strong and proud of myself while I was doing it. So its been maybe 2 weeks since she left...during that time I have been bad with eating, i haven't been saying no to a whole lot and its just getting me disgusted at this point. I decided that this is the month to get back to working hard, fall is around the corner and If i want all of my long pants from last winter to fit me I better start right this second! As of this morning I weighed in at 135 lbs. On Monday morning I got up and did 40 minutes on my stepper and hip hop abs that night, Yesterday I did both after work and I will do the stepper when I get home today. I bought the 30 Day Shred dvd by Jullian Michaels and am starting that tonight. I have been eating well so far this week and plan to keep it up, I am so ready to get back to where I was and get back to posting and staying updated with you ladies. I missed you all and can't wait to see how you are all doing. Lets work hard together!

So I'm guessing the crush at work never turned into anything more? That's ok and I'm glad you are feeling better about yourself now that you've been hit on by some sexy men!! You just need to get out more and I'm sure it will happen there!
What about Px90? Did you keep that up at all? I never ended up getting a copy yet but I'm not sure I could stick to a dvd everyday. I like the gym and switching things up.

I am so excited to be back too Lisa! I thought of you so many times, and I would get a chance to read a post or two or yours then my boss would come around before I got a chance to write a reply.

No nothing happened with my work crush, I'm over him lol. I was happy to even have him as a crush though, he was my first crush since my breakup. He has been seeing some girl, but he told our mutual friend that I am "really hot" lol, so he at least gave me a little confidence boost. I'm working on getting out more and being less shy, its coming a long slowly but surely...my boss and I have actually become good friends this summer, hes young, hes 31 and I ended up telling him the whole story about my ex and he has been helping to me to find ways to move past it and I have been feeling better with his advice.

I have only done one P90X workout since my trip, my copy of it was burned by my friend's bf and some of them don't work so i wasn't able to follow it daily. He is going to give me a new copy but I don't think I am ready to follow it for 90 days straight yet. I want to work on weight loss before I woke on toning and muscle building. I'm just like you, I like switching it up when ever I feel like it and not having to be dedicated to something daily.

I am really looking forward to getting back on track with you! I am ready to work hard and get my christmas body back! Its so good to chat with you again!
 
AW! (Clapping) So glad to see that you popped in today! So Vegas has alot of hot guys huh? Maybe I'll make that my goal trip! Your bad eating isn't the worst of things, we all know that you are a beast when it comes to losing those unwanted pounds, and kicking it into high gear. It's good to know you had a blast on your trip and hanging out with your cousin.

big congrats hun you are doing so well. i hope i can do as well as you. you look brill in you pics bet ypur feeling it too. im 5'7 and 155lbs want to get down to 148lbs for november as its my bf bday and want to look good for him. i have just had a baby and thats my pre preg weight, but my final target is 134lb. how do you stop them cravings. i must just be so weak. im going strat walking hope that helps. A BIG WELL DONE xxx

Vegas has endless hot guys, that would be the perfect goal trip for you! Show off that hot new body to some hot guys! I have been really trying hard to get my bad eating under control, I actually did well this weekend, I didn't do a lot of working out but my eating was actually great, no cheating! Its a start, I need to get my butt into high gear with the workouts though. Soo good to be talking to you again!
