The new meds are amazing.
The drawback that I mentioned previously (the pills killing appetite), however, is a very real thing. I haven't eaten since a PBJ late last night (I got off my bouncer job, and got home ~3:30), and it is past when I usually eat dinner. I even had a heavy lift day. Normally I am ravenous after something like that. It is really hard to explain. It doesn't make me want to not eat, but the usual urges to eat that I get just aren't there. The only things that are still there are the habit eating (like, walking by the secretary's desk, and nabbing a piece of candy). Again, it is hard to explain without experiencing it, but it looks like I'm going to be losing some weight here, but not in a good way. If all the time is like the way I was the past two days, I think I might try drinking the hell out of protein shakes to try to up my calories in another way, while keeping my protein intake high. I'm not bitching about losing fat, but I'm scared that if I can't eat enough I'm going to start getting injured, and lose a ton of the muscle that I've worked so hard for.
In other news, I broke into the 120lb dumbbells today for military press. 2x8, perfect form, not missing a beat. I did it right after a guy in a sleeveless shirt, weight belt, lifting gloves, and underarmor sweatband asked me if I was looking to use the 50's he was military pressing with. My nuts doubled in size.
Funny bar story: the bar that I work at is usually a really chill bar with down to earth people as customers. Sadly, we are near a couple of different colleges, and we grab a couple of the douche-frat boys on occasion. This fella walks in with the standard frat getup... except he is wearing man-capris. I was floored. I started laughing, and stopped the guy, and said "heh, hey buddy... I think someone went and stole the bottom of your pants!". Poor kid. But the laugh at his expense was too good to pass up. As he left the bar, Mr. Manpris hopped onto his BICYCLE and started to peddle home. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
