James's Journal (And Alternate Alliteration)

It was more of a job for NOT looking pretty. More like a mountain man, now.

You won't even have to grow a grizzly adams beard. Just take a bit of chest hair and glue it to your chin. You won't even notice the chest hair's missing.

We had a giant baked ham for dinner last night, and it reminded me of your ass. :biggrinjester:

ooooh -that'd be fun to see.. .

wll you sell tickets ahead of time for the ruckus?

Why do I hear Vince McMahon (and why do i know his name) screaming - Let's Get ready to RUUUUCKUUUUS :D

You'd only have to buy a one way ticket, 'cause I'd send you flying.

On a sad side note: My poor dog apparently picked up fleas last time I took him to the kennel. I say poor dog, 'cause I'm going to have to murder him for bringing those parasites in to my home.

Taking him to the groomers today to get a flea dip, and while he's there, I'm going to be flea bombing my house.

Awesome.

I'm just glad I caught it so early. I don't have any bites on me, and none of the pans of water I put out turned up any fleas, so hopefully this should be nice and easy.

Although, it pained me when I was grossed out by having to pick him up to put him in my truck. Poor guy.

Your poor dog. Let me know if you need me to check through your chest hair for fleas. I'll go through it with a fine toothed comb. :biggrinjester:

The ham was just a regular baked ham--nothing fancy. It was pretty salty. Although pouring a bottle of beer over it would've enhanced the flavor. :D

Although pouring a bottle of beer over it would've enhanced the flavor.

It always does

and it makes the ham last longer too, and almost ensures that the ham doesn't "Arrive Early" (Jimmy Carr joke).

Happy monday, everyone.

Was a good weekend. Had a friend in from out of town, and we tore the city apart. Love old friends.

So, my lifting partner couldn't make it to the gym today. Without a spot, I sat back and cranked out 275 3x10 on bench. Hell yeah. Totally in control. Deliberate motion (no bouncing, back arching or wiggling).

That is a huge mental step for me. I always call it quits a little early without spotters on bench, 'cause I'm afraid of getting caught in a stupid way. Good stuff there.

On a different side note:

Does anyone know how much tailors generally cost? Like, if I was looking to get a couple shirts and pants done up for me.

Custom made shirts and pants or do you want stuff you currently have tailored to fit you?

Custom made is generally not cheap - take a trip to hong kong and have some clothes made that way.

but for adjustments made -it's anywhere from 10 -15 dollars for pants or less depending on what youwant done..

Hey handsome,

just dropping in to send you some hugs, man titty pinches, and a few bites... because I miss your smart ass. hahaaa

Don't be jealous, I'm sure there's enough of her to go around, after I get firsts, seconds, thirds, fourths, and fifths.

How is everyone doing today? I saw an AWESOME concert last night. Band called "Bang Camaro"

They were AWESOME. Such a good time.

So, I have started eating breakfast on a regular basis for the first time in a LONG time. I bought a couple boxes of cereal and a jug of milk, and took 'em in to work. They let us keep crap in the fridge, so I decided to give it a try. Prior to this, I'd eat after my workout (usually ate ~12:30), and then again around 8. I never really missed breakfast. Now, I'm tryin out 2 bowls of honey nut cheerios, or raisin bran crunch. I like it, but I was never really hungry before for breakfast, and I still am not. I really haven't noticed much of a change, except I'm not as prone to gorging myself at lunch.
