It tastes AWESOME... but it's not worth it... Wish I had a cure for you!

Cooking together? Now I'm jealous! I've always wanted to whip up some yummy food with my hubby. He's not a cook and I have no patience for someone who doesn't know how to cook being in my space. (Unless he is a towhead and under 4 feet... I got three of those!)
Keep truckin', Fuunky!

Go, Hippy Hotties!

Funky-I made your chickpeas last night- they were REALLY good. Pass on any other recipes that you might have, because if they all taste like that- then they must be good.

Ok, ladies you have to tell me how to post my ticker- im a little confused....

:) Hope all is well with everyone!

Colleen- :)

Hahahaha, Hey Totallyscrappy! Thanks for worrying about me! The hurricane didn't really bother the part of Florida I'm in, but it did get Broward County pretty badly, which is where I'm from. Broward is about three hours south of Orlando. My mom and brother and all of my friends are fine, but there is a lot of damage down there and no power. My mom said the power might be out for 4-6 weeks! Ouch! No, I've been absent from here because of business, laziness, and I had a computer virus for the past few days. Dan fixed it though. :) He's a computer geek. Works for me though. The virus was bad though, I couldn't connect to the internet or open any of my documents. It was crazy. Here's my food for today:

Breakfast:
Slim Fast Granola Bar (220)

Lunch:
Tomato Soup (150)
Grilled Provolone on Wheat (260)

Snack:
1/2 cup Body and Soul Cherry Garcia (1/2 the fat and cals Ben and Jerry's ice cream! 170)

Snack:
Cucumber, red onion, and tomato salad with olive oil and vinegar (100)

Snack:
15 Light Cheddar and Sour Cream chips (75)

Dinner:
1 slice of mushroom and onion pizza (250) I know, I'm sick.

I'm glad you liked the chickpeas Sunshine Girl. I actually got the recipe out of one of those fitness magazines-I think it was Self. They really are good, I should make them again.

I am super busy lately, but I'm trying desperately to keep my weight in check. I'm constantly on the go, especially now that I have a boyfriend. I really commend you girls who balance your weight loss while taking care of your families. You're such an inspiration.

You have a b/f??? How'd I miss that?? Is it that funny guy you were tellign us about? I'm happy for you!! I sure miss dating!

Glad you didn't get much of that hurricane! Its awful this year!

Keep up the good work lady!!

Korrie! you didnt know? This is like the biggest thing going on! LOL

glad you got the virus taken care of! It's a good thing Dan's a computer geek!

Fuunky,
Glad you escaped Hurricane Wilma. You didn't mention how your family fared, so I'm going to guess that they are okay.?? My Dad lives in a retirement mobile home park in Martin County and his house is a mess. The Florida room is gone. Stuff all over the lawn. The cat was missing, but Dad found her in a closet yesterday afternoon. My brother (he lives in Indian River county and did okay) was there helping my dad and he informed me that my Christening gown was out on the lawn. I have never seen my Christening gown and my mother could never find it. My brother offered to have it cleaned and sent to me only after saying, "Yeah. Amazing all the stuff you find when the walls are knocked down." Anyway. Miserable. Dad and the cat are staying at my brother's until he knows what insurance and FEMA will do. I said to my SIL, "Congrats. You've got yourself an old man and a cat. It could be worse... he could be crotchety!" (My dad is the easy-going, hard-working, loving grandpa of the century!)
Anyway. Now that I have hijacked your journal...
Keep truckin' along!

hey there sweetie - glad to see you are keeping up the good work! balancing all of the things in our lives are SO hard!!! with school, work, and love it is soooo hard =) my advice - make sure you have time for yourself.... I try to meditate for a little while in the mornings, and even though it takes up extra time - it helps center me and gets me started with the right attitude so that the rest of the day feels much more balanced... good luck!!!

Hahahaha, Christina. The biggest thing going on? I don't know about that, but yep Korrie, I have been dating someone for about six weeks and we had the boyfriend/girlfriend talk recently, and its been very good. It isn't the guy I went out with twice who was funny the first time and annoying the second time. This is a different one. He's very sweet and a big computer dork, which came in handy when I got a computer virus!

I'm glad your family is okay Totallyscrappy, even though there's damage to the house. And I'm glad they found the kitty! My family is fine, they just got electricity back. Broward County got it bad, but my mom and brother, and all of my friends are well, just aggravated.

Work, school, work, school. UGH! So I was late to my class, which was fine with the teacher, he's a laid back cool guy, I didn't miss much, but that meant I missed getting dinner on the way. And my teacher brought candy to class  And I was starving! UGH! Girls, I have no excuses. I will not plead the fifth. I ate the candy dammit. I ate it and I LIKED IT!

Breakfast:
Slim Fast Bar (220)
Orange Juice (50)

Lunch:
Lean Cuisine Fettucine (270)
Apple (60)
Fat Free Pudding (100)

Snacks:
CANDY...:cries:
and...combos...agh, I'm going straight to diet hell

Dinner: Late Dinner-
Yellow Rice with Black Beans (300)

hehehe... i'm totally there with you!!! I ate way too much halloween candy this weekend... and felt like I was in diet hell too... =) but tomorrow is a new day!!!

You only have two pounds to go Amomono?!?!?! Wow! Can we get some pictures of you please?

Yesterday I had classes for the first part of the day, and then I had to work from 4-12 and I was so exhausted by the end of the day, but I had to go home and do some homework before I could go to bed, and I discovered that I can't take anymore classes until I pass this CLAST math test, which is $30 every time you take it. I've taken it three times and I can't pass! So now I have to take it ASAP and hope that I pass, because otherwise I can't attend class next semester. That will be horrible!

Here's yesterday's food:
Breakfast:
Slim Fast Granola Bar (220)

Lunch:
Elbow Macaroni with a Parma Rosa Sauce (200)
Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Red Onion, and Black Olives with olive oil and vinegar (100)

Dinner:
Sweet and Sour Tofu with veggies and brown rice (400)

Dessert:
Halloween Candy :(

Today

Egg Beaters (60)
2 Slices Veggie Bacon (60)
Orange Juice (50)

Lunch:
Slice of Mushroom and Onion Pizza (250)
Salad with Balsamic (100)
