Jaclyn's diary

Ahahahaha, you guys are so funny. I know you're all right about it being good that he's taking it slow, I'm just used to guys pawing at me right away. He's definitely not a virgin though, which I'm glad, because I'm in no mood to teach someone what to do. He said he just wants to enjoy me. Haha, Scrappy, you might be surprised to see the kinds of writing I do. I have the mouth of a sailor. Melting Pot was very good guys--if your husbands or boyfriends won't take you there you should get some girlfriends together and go! It was fun.

So I have had a great week, as you can see, however I am very much stuck on 175 and going out a bunch isn't helping. I'm definitely going to check out Curves sometime next week. I really want to get rid of this last 25 to 30 pounds.

Thank you all for being so supportive all the time!

woo hoo!!! sounds like the date was a hit! =)

btw... I had one of those veggie chik lemongrass bowls last spring - and I thought it was AWFUL =P But it was also the first time I had anything lemon grass, so I'm not sure if it was the brand, or the flavor - do you like them? and does it taste anything like real lemongrass? I really love the veggie chik lasagnas... YUMMY!

"He's definitely not a virgin though, which I'm glad, because I'm in no mood to teach someone what to do."
LOL! I don't know why I find this amazingly funny. Maybe you could get tshirts or bumper stickers made...
especially for those of us who've been married half a lifetime... LOL!
Totallyscrappy

Hahahahaha, Totallyscrappy! Seriously though! I've got way too much to do to be able to teach someone what to do. That would be far too time consuming, and who could say if it would even pay off in the end? No virgins for me, thanks.

Amomono, the Lemongrass bowls are kind of weird. I don't know how I feel about them actually. I get one every once in awhile and I can never decide if I like them or not. I don't think I really do actually...and I'm glad you pointed that out to me. That will help me not buy another one.

So I worked yesterday until 10 and then went to Dan's house to watch Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which was pretty good. We ended up staying up super late though. I got home around 3 and went to sleep around 4, which would be fine if I was a normal person BUT of course I have to work this morning and had to get up at 7:30. UGH. I feel like I just took a crappy nap, and then after work I have to go out to dinner with my boss and some other people from work when I know I'll just want to go to sleep. And then I think Dan wants me to go to a party with him to meet some of his friends, but I'm hoping I can convince him to just come over and lay down with me, because I'm going to be super tired. Oh, I did meet his parents last night and he told me his dad said I was hot. Hahahahahaha.

So I never had time for dinner last night! That sucked.

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters (60)
Orange/Cranberry Juice (80)
1 Slice Lite Whole Wheat Toast (40)
2 Slices Veggie Bacon (60)

Lunch:
Sweet and Sour Tofu on Brown Rice with pineapple, onions, and ginger (400)

met the parents already!!! woah girl! =) and I'm glad that my thoughts on the lemongrass bowl was confirmed... I actually was thinking about buying another one just to see if it was just me on that day... but i'm going to steer clear =)

Haha, I know Amomono! I hadn't planned on meeting his parents, they happened to show up at the same time I did. So we met. He says they liked me. :)

So I worked today on no sleep, then went out to dinner with my boss and some people from work, and now Dan is coming over to hang out. I'm really tired, but I'm also enjoying having something of a social life and I'm very much enjoying his company. Its really nice to just have someone to lay around with.

Breakfast:
Cocoa Krispies in skim (200)
Orange/Cranberry Juice (80)

Lunch:
Salad with peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, radishes, and honey mustard (200)

Hey!..Just wanted to tell ya hi!!!....And with your photos you can tell how much you have changed!....you are 2 cute and really stylish!!!!
I am so glad I am not in the dating scene anymore...( But I still look!!..and drool from time to time...lol)....But this guy sounds like he is into you....and him being 6'8.....Oh my lord...um..what size shoe does he wear?....how big are his hands?....lol..jk
As for curves...I go there and I LOVE it.........it is only 30 minutes a day.....you can go looking as crappy as you want...no men...no make up ..no mirrors!!!....Its all hydrolic machines...if you pump them really hard and really fast...you will be sweating like crazy.....call them and ask them about a free workout....

Thanks KC! I was teetering about Curves because the hours are terrible with my schedule (not open Sundays which I always have off and only open until 1 on Saturday when I have to work until 4:30!) BUT, since its only three times a week I think I'll give it a try for the month and see if I can go before or after work and school on my weekdays. See how it works out. Hahaha, as for your questions about my tall guy--his shoe size is 15  and he has HUGE hands. He's a giant. I like it though, I feel little next to him. We've been having fun--my biggest gripe is that I've spent so much time with him this week I miss my cat and my best friend! I've hardly seen them all week! My best friend and I are having dinner tonight though, and I'm planning on just relaxing tonight, so I can get some play time with my kitty.

I also have a buttload of homework to do! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Everything is good though. :)

Also thinking about possibly trying to half heartedly follow a Slimfast meal plan on my week days maybe, and then eating normal on weekends. Not sure about this. MAYBE...maybe...I should do the whole slim fast thing 3 days a week-then just have one meal replaced by slim fast stuff twice a week, and then eat normally on weekends. Hmmm...my biggest problem with it is that its so expensive! I just need to find a way to get past this plateau.

I don't KNOW if this will work... but people have often suggested taking a few days off and eating whatever you want - to give your body a shock when you head back to your diet... perhaps that would help? I say try whatever you think would be best... if nothing else, you can go back to what you were doing!

Amomono, I've heard that body shock theory before and I'm thinking maybe I'll give it a try on Wednesday-my birthday-and then go to my Curves/Slim Fast idea. That just might work.

I'm looking forward to my birthday, even though I have to go to class that night. I'm planning on sleeping in, then having lunch with my best friend, maybe sitting around the pool if I have time, then going to class, then hopefully seeing Dan at night. I've been having such a good time with him. I'm worried that its just going to go sour though, because these things always do with me. I know he really likes me though. I even told him about my body/weight issues and he said he understands and he won't try to stop me from losing more weight if thats what I want, but that he thinks I'm sexy. :) I'm not used to having a guy around, so I keep getting all goofy. Its funny. Ahhhh, another day of work and I have to cram some studying in, because I was so busy last week. I have a midterm tomorrow.

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters (60)
2 Slices Veggie Bacon (60)
Orange Juice (50)

Virgins could be fun.... teaching is fun... hmmmm.

I hope you like Curves, and fit it in your busy ass sched somehow....

Ahhhh, I had an AWFUL day at work. My boss was riding me and the other supervisor is such a slacker and I had a fight with my friend who works in the other office and I had to go get mail from the post office and there was a ton and I got all sweaty getting it and THEN when we were sorting it we found an envelope someone had PEED on and the whole office smelled like piss. Ugh, it was horrible. At least I have the next two days off and Wednesday is my BIRTHDAY!

Hahaha, Christina, you're so funny. He is one mighty big guy. We're having fun though. He's letting me take him out for vegetarian Chinese food tomorrow!

Definitely going to check out Curves tomorrow.

eeewwww pee pee postage! Someone out there is a sick a-hole!

Hope your vegetarian Chinese is good! Let us know what you get so I can try it one day. Anytime we get chinese (hardly ever) I always get the same thing.... It would be nice to try something new..

LMAO @ pee pee postage

That really does suck and sorry that you had a bad day at work. You're doing great though!

Yeah I know, no time to teach...hey not everyone can take time out of their hectic schedule for the poor confused virgins. LOL!

Hahahaha, you guys are so great! Thank you! Looking forward to my birthday, even though I have class. Oh well. Tomorrow I'm going to have lunch with my best friend and we're going to eat some good birthday dessert! Then I'm buckling down!

I went to Curves today and I liked it, but they won't let me pay monthly, so I can't do it. They said it would be a flat rate of $390 for 12 months. I don't think so. So I'll have to just do regular old bike riding and going to my crappy little apartment gym.

I went grocery shopping as well, stocked up on healthy foods.

Dan and I went out to this vegetarian Chinese restaraunt that I like and had a good time. :)

$390!?! who has that kind of money laying around just for Curves? I dont get it.... I know that they all have different owners, at least I think... so maybe you could find another one in the next town over or something.... and see if they do monthly.... I'm gonna check out mine and see what they say, even if I can not join now....
