Heyas Girlie,
Stopped by to say hello.I have all my seasoning's
for the bird but I couldn't find a non frozen bird so I might have
to defrost the 1 I have and make it over the weekend I made the
pumkin pie tonight will try that tomorrow:)
A hot bubble bath sounds nice after seeing hot tubb and whirl pool lol!

I refuse to be complacent about the political process in this country like a good percent of my peers. I voted today...DID YOU? If you answered no to that question you have no business complaining about the outcome.

So far today I've been a do-gooder. I just bought and donated turkeys to a charity holiday food drive. And I volunteered to come back the weekend before thanksgiving and help put together holiday meal baskets and deliver them to the families that need them. And I don't even celebrate thanksgiving.

Today's numbers...so far:
Non fat milk 8 oz (86)
espresso (1)
total 87 cals...errrr, I'm going to eat something right now.

Good for you! Haven't voted yet, but I WILL when I get off work. So I am prepared to complain. :D

Iwan, I'd like to say you look pretty in pink - but I don't think the people sending you home from work or the dentist would agree at this point!

lol you two! complain away, as long as you cast a ballot. And my eyes look nice and crystal clear right now thanks to some contact lens rewetting drops with boric acid and some visine. Can't say they are going to stay that way but I'm going to follow up with the doctor this afternoon. I'm thinking if they gave me antibiotics and they are not working then its probably a viral infection not bacterial.
I ate something else, a quarter of a cinnamon bagel for 61 cals...I was mid bite when I read the nutritian lable...it could have been disasterous.
 
Ahh...I guess I always thought pink eye was viral.
I hope it passes quickly!

And I just have to say that I just read in another diary where you mentioned you had lost 27 pounds...I had to come back to your diary, look at your ticker, stare for a moment at the numbers, then do a happy dance!!!

Iwan, I'm terrible at looking at tickers and sigs, but damn girl, you are down almost 30 pounds!!! That is SO good :D
 
I know! it feels good! when I have weak moments I think of how far I've come in just 8 weeks. And you know what, I couldn't have done it without all you peeps, but specifically these diaries for inspiration, motivation and somewhere to spill my guts to.
 
Iwan - you CAN do it no matter what. I agree that it's wonderful having the support we get here, the place to vent and get support, but YOU are the one making it happen! You are the one reaching your goals! We're just the over dressed cheerleaders ;)

YOU are doing a GREAT job :D

of that Pumpkin pie today as my snack after lunch it
was simply yummy and to think it's lowfat "YAY" lol!
I am still planning on turkey this weekend with your yummy

Thank you all again for the words of encouragement and positive vibes. And your right M2M there is a significant amount of energy hard work and passion that goes into losing weight. You have to want it and work for it. You literally have to throw your whole self into it or it won't work. It helps to have the best support system on the net though...

I am so looking forward to making that pie but I figured I better wait till I have an occation to share cause I don't want a whole pie sitting around my house begging to be eaten. I'm a glutton like that...I didn't get fat by obstaining from good food.
 
I can't say much about this but the poo just hit the fan at the office. My boss, the one I hate...yes...that one, was just...like...physically ousted from her job by the board. And now the bad news. They put me in her place. Me, who was going to resign to take that other job. WHY ME!!!!???!!!!

I didn't have a whole lot of choice in the matter, the chairman pointed at me and said "you're interim till we hire a new director" and I was like "......." totally speachless...*gasp*
 
Hey! I am dropping in to say Hi! I know your day didn't go great, but it had to be great watching the witch get canned! LOL I mean I don't even know her and it made my heart glad, so you gotta be be having these kind of thoughts too.:D Anyway I hope you have a nice evening!!:)
 
Well, I'm finally home. Its almost 9pm. My entire life has kinda...changed...in the last few hours. And I'm not sure I all together like it. I've been filing grievences against that "b" of a boss of mine forever and it all finally registered I guess. I guess somebody finally decided it wasn't funny anymore.
So, anyways, I went to a meeting with the executive committee this evening and told them that I wanted to kindly turn down the appointment as interim director and they basically told me no. I was all they had up their sleeves and "if we wern't confindent that you can do the job we would have brought in outside help." So I'm being compensated for the extra duties. Thank the goddess they've already hired a firm for an executive search. I am really stressed out. I"m off to go and log my calories and hit the hay, its going to be a long one tomorrow.
