Iwan's Weightloss Journal

Thanks for the words peeps, they help. I'm hoping this inpatient thing will help, although it was an involuntary commitment and I know these kinds of things don't work unless you are committed to getting better. I just don't know if she's there yet. I hope this helps her get better, I'm trying to see the glass half full right now. I'm trying to keep things positive.

My shoulder is killing me today. I mentioned that I tore my rotator cuff in anchorage, well, I seem to have made it worse. Much much worse. I can't even lift my arm away from my body right now. And my feet are a solid block of ice right now. Which has nothing to do with anything, I just thought while I was on a complaining roll I'd throw that in.

T2, I took a pic of the truck, but I lost the cable to plug the camera into the computer. But I think I know where it is so give me about 24 hours and I'll have a pic for you. Or you could google search "hot chicks standing next to red 2001 GMC sanoma" and you'll pretty much have what I was going for but failed miserably to accomplish.

hey girl.....sorry to hear about your friend and your bro. I lost and uncle who was 4 years older than me to suicide he was 29 at the time...so i know where you are coming from.....it is hard to deal with the stress of wondering if someone you love is going to kill themselves, or if they are all right, it can consume you!!!! All you can do is be there for her when she asks, keep youself healthy too though, do you have someone you feel comfortable talking with about it??? got ya in my thoughts........later STAR

I hope you can find some joy today girlie, I know how hard it is. My brother is not speaking to me right now, hasn't for a little over a year now. He called me at my home, 4 hours away from him, and said "goodbye" and tried to killed himself. I called the police in his area and had them go over there and stop him. They did, but he's been angry with me ever since. :( Sorry, didn't mean to pull you into my bit of depression, but my heart and prayers are with you. I'm just glad she was willing to get help, being willing to admit you need it is great. *big hug*

I'm sorry you are going through this, thats really tough to deal with.

So! Pink eye! yeeeehaw! Me and my son have pink eye, in both of our eyes. what a way to start a day...without being able to unglue your eye lids from eachother. And it feels like someone is rubbing a steady amount of sand into my eyes. I treated us with a boric acid solution this morning and then a crow berry wash afterwards and my son's eyes are clearing up but mine are just getting worse. I think I'm going to need antibiotics and I'll have to make the trip to the clinic before 6pm tonight or it'll be the emergency room tomorrow. And I hate the emergency room attending. She's way bitchy. So, I'm off to the clinic! Yeah!

Oh holy night - you are a germ magnet woman! Feel better soon!!
*uses hand sanitizer on the way out*

LMAO @ this! But....OHD decides to grab the sanitizer on her way out too! :D

So sorrry for this spell of germ attack you're having lately...get well soon you two!

I am a germ magnet! what is up with this! So, I got the antibiotics...a shot in the arse. Oh, and some eye drops. apparently my eye infection was quite bad. Conjunctivitis...yeah!
I cooked a turkey though, cause I got sent home from work. Apparently nobody at the office wanted to share my germs. I'm in the process of cooking down the turkey carcus into some stock with onions, carrots, and homegrown herbs. I'm thinking turkey soup. yum! So I have this weeks dinners taken care of pretty much, theres alot of turkey in my fridge right now. And next weeks dinners will obviously be turkey soup. I had to use my biggest tupperware container to put all the meat away. THANK YOU Tammy for the idea, you're a genius.
I'm tired, I got some pain killers at the clinic for the "pain" in my eyes. I think I"m off to nap the evening away.

oh, forgot to mention. I donated a painting to an auction for a non profit and a co worker called earlier to tell me there was a huge bidding war going on over the painting. I havn't heard who won yet, but one of the bidders was my mom so I'm sure I can guess. The other person won.

I'm having a lazy day. My eyes are completely clear but I still can't go back to work till monday. Guess what I had for lunch. Yup, turkey! oh, and some cottage cheese. I don't wanna brag or anything, but if you need a turkey cooked I'm the lady to see. I can cook a turkey like nobody's business. I rock. Yeah, my head isn't big or anything.

So my food so far today has been:
Breakfast:
12 oz non fat milk (126)
100 grams espresso (3) yeah, I was tired...so sue me.
Total cals: 129...I'll have to check on the milk calorie count...

Lunch:
.5 cups cottage cheese (120)
60 grams turkey (68)
Total: 188 cals

Snack:
Trail mix (140)
Bite of ice cream (50)
Total: 190 cals

Dinner:
1 tbsp hummus (50)
3 crackers (70)
Approx 3.8 oz Turkey (180)
Tomato (35)
Onion, Jalapeno, lime juice, herbs (10)
Flour tortilla wrap (smallish) (120)
Total: 465 cals

grand total: 972 cals, which I'm happy with, so I'm staying with this.

Heyas IWAN,
So sorry about the yucky eye booger torture!
I swear my brother gave it to me last year and by the end of
the day all my kids and hubby had it and I washed my hands good
so I wouldn't spread it.I was lucky to have the kind that takes
a week to get rid of and we had certain drops because the 1st
didn't work it was the "viral pink eye not bacteria 1!
Anyway glad your bird turned out good I am going to cook mine
on Thursday so I can try to have a cheat free weekend by munching
on turkey!Hope you have a gr8 Monday, Tammy:)

Cannon, you buy the plane ticket and I'll be there. Oh, just off this island its about a thousand bucks r/t...

Tammy, want my secret recipe?

Just sayin', I know a local guy that lost 150 lbs that ate turkey almost exclusively. I've been considering using a heavy turkey consumption during the winter but I'd probably lose control with the bread and mayo - which he didn't use.

Believe me, I  turkey :)
