Iwan's Weightloss Journal

Well, I had a very successful diet day, although I lacked physical activity. I am eating right now, the wonderful tuna salad that I posted on Mal's diary a few days ago. Its got about all the colors of the rainbow except purple which I will eat for dessert in the form of blueberries. They are fresh because they are in season right now, straight off the bush's in my back yard. I see nobody had the nerve to look at my ugly mug yet, no worries, better to not comment on how ugly I am then to pretend. And thats the best angle I could get...lol. All my other angles include my tripple chins that meld with my neck rolls. my forehead looks like I have a receeding hairline though, I assure you, I just have a gigantic forehead.
anyways, tomorrow is my day off, the first I've had in ages and my house needs a good ol' fashion cleaning. I wonder how many calories you burn cleaning house...

Well, I looked at it and I think the top of your head is very pretty so :p lol. (The way you put it, I was actually expecting something the Wishes' motivation video. *shudder*) I can't seem to take an acceptable picture of myself either. (not with minor cramping anyway)

I looove fresh blueberries, I bet they're soo yummy straight off the bush. I can only get them frozen or pay out the wazoo for a tiny pint of fresh (in the hoity-toity market by the crepe toppings).

what the hell dude? You are a cutie from what i can see and you are always your own worst critic!!!! be nice to yourself you are a work in progress and you should be proud of who you are, what ever size!!!!!;) STAR

Ok, among the many I say...you are a pretty girl so :p . And that whole dating women thing....It will bring you a whole nuther set of problems. Just ask my husband :D Great job...I am so proud of you.

Okay, went to the gym this morning and did 45 minutes on the elliptical trainer, I went 3.65 miles and burned 6hundredsomething calories. And, I weighed myself and I'm down three pounds from last friday...three freakin pounds...where did it come off of, I can't tell. so since september 2nd I've gone from 234 to 220, 14 lbs in less then a month. I know it will slow down, but YEAH! who knew I had it in me to actually accomplish this kind of weight loss. Those are the kinds of numbers you see in expensive diet adds with an asterick that say "*results not typical" or something.
On a tightwad note I went to the store to stock up on veggies and spent over $120.00. I hate the prices up here on produce. Way too expensive for what you end up with.

Man, I had a high calorie day yesterday, I stayed within my limits but its the highest day I've had since we started the Halloween challange, 1465 cals. And alot of sodium, so I'm sure I'm going to see it on the scale. I'm drinking mass loads of water to flush my system out and eating only fresh veggies and fruits today.
I wanted to try and fit in some excersize this morning before I came to work but we had a DV homicide in our region and my agency is the agency that oversee's the community it happened in. So I was called in early and have been for the most part busy all morning. I'm taking lunch at my desk right now. Water, an apple and a rainbow salad with balsamic vinegar. Didn't do so good on breakfast this morning, I only had time for coffee, so I had a shot of espresso and 8 oz of steamed fat free milk with a tablespoon of hershy's chocolate syrup (which, btw is called Hershy's chocolate syrump on spark...hahaha).

I was in Marshalls the other day, back in the home section... and they had a huge assortment of sugar free/calorie free syrups for coffee (like the ones that starbucks uses) in all sorts of yummy flavors - caramel, tiramisu, vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate :D

sounds like you're having a good eatin' day.. atta girl.. :D

Yeah, I have an espresso machine at home, my parents bought for me for my birthday several years ago. its a starbucks barista...nice. I used to buy vanilla and hazelnut syrup and then always keep stocked up on godiva hot cocoa mix for the kid. Now I buy hazelnut sugarfree syrup but I ran out so I used some hershey's chocolate. the sugarfree syrups are hard to find here, I could only find it in the hazelnut. I asked the store manager to order some vanilla sugar free but I think she blew me off. I really need to take a shopping trip to anchorage and stock up and ship it out here.
I think after today I'm going to retire and become a murder mystery writer.
