I've tried to lose weight before, will this be my time?

Hey there! TaeBo is great workout... I got the Billy Blanks one. But I had to go slow the first time cos it really pumps up your heartrate. Did 15 min then break, then go on for another 15. I like it alot! He's like know when u gonna give up and press u on to kick another round lol...

Glad something good came out of the boys camp. Some teenagers go through that stage the hard way and I believe your bro might very well prove himself to be an outstanding person when he's out of there. Keep praying even if you can't visit him...:)
 
Pink Dolly, thanks. I am hoping to start Tai bo tomorrow, I had been sore from baseball on sunday, somehow I got a big bruise on my upper leg, not sure when I got it,probably when I slid to the base! ready to burn some calories
 
I almost have tears in my eyes, I saw a picture of my brother, unfortunately he ran into some trouble, and was sent to a camp for boys, he was pretty chubby but not as big as me, and now he looks so healthy, they allowed my family to spend the day with him, I wasn't able to go, which really got me down. Yet I am so proud of my brother he has changed physically and mentally. If he can do it, then why can't I? I love you my bro Mark

that's awesome!! congrats to your brother.. and you absolutely can do it for yourself too :D
 
Things have been going good, I did my 3 mile hike and I loved it, I had so much more energy, i'm now at 294 I still can't see the difference though, I was 320 so I atleast know i've lost the scales don't lie right? I hope not, I have been controlling my eating habit, which was something I was never able to do, I don't have crazy cravings or just eat because food is there, I have a long journey, I just need to keep at it, and I really believe I will!

well I just realized I am 1 pound away from losing 30 lbs!

It went by so fast! I lost 15 lbs in June alone, and have been doing this for 6 weeks, I started off fast but have been losing 2 -3 lbs a week for the past few weeks. This time next year I should be a different person and pretty close to my ultimate goal of getting down to 165 from 320!
 
Well, after being bummed out the last week and a half, I read a post from IronMan, he had this great qoute: " you'll never hit a plateau in your weight loss, if you attack it like an animal" that really hit me. So for the first time in over 10 years I actually Jogged! I've been doing it for the past 2 days and boy it feels great! I only lost 1 pound last week but I definately making up for it this week, but i'll post that on friday in the "fit for fall challenge".
