Hi, I'm just some girl.

I have been overweight pretty much since I was about 8 or 9 (I'm in my late 20's). A few years ago I lost about 100 lbs over the course of about 2 years. But, alas, I lost motivation a couple years ago and gained about all of it back. I have recently went through a break up ( :( ) and it has caused me to look at my life and set some goals for myself. So I'm determined to lose weight and have a healthier lifestyle. I've been counting calories and working out. Weight this morning was 261, down 4 lbs since last week.

Welcome to my journey...buckle up, it could be a bumpy ride! :)
 
261 again this morning. Not exercising today b/c I've exercised the past 7 days and I figured I could take a day off! Had to work late anyway. Ate pretty good overall today. Ate a cookie thing, but I ate healthy otherwise. My short-term goal is to lose enough weight where my coat will zip without being so super tight.:blush5:
 
Sounds like you are doing well then! yeah you should take off a couple days from exercise a week, i usually make it the weekend if i do. Keeps me in my routine (exercise before/after/during work)
 
You deserve a day off! Enjoy the rest and best of luck on the journey, I wish I had done this years ago (I'm 32 now).

Just wanted to drop by to say welcome to the forum, and good luck! I've gotten a lot of inspiration here, I'm sure you will too!
