Val: Well, never is an exaggeration, but not by much. Maybe 2-3 times in the last year? Specifically bread made with yeast..you know, the soft, yummy kind? Cause a) it makes my tummy poke out (?)...not the look I'm usually going for 'cause I'm still in the tacky "hootchie girl" phase of dressing myself (but growing slowly out of itHey that's great that you put in the flower garden finally!!!
Also, congrats on the dinner--never eat bread!!!
I love my legs too!
Sunny: Zinnias and two types of non-flowering shrub like plants (yep, super garden chick over here!)..it's rather non - pic worthy at the moment...every thing is in baby plant stages...but like a mother with a bald headed baby - I can see the potential! What did you plant? You should take a pic and post it so we can all see it.
Rye bread in olive oil sounds yummy. I really do wish restaurants were more health-friendly. I've been doing a lot of reading around about where to eat out with my friends and discovered that some of the places I really like have boycotts out on them because they won't give up the caloric information. (Cheesecake Factory is one of them. I love their salads!) As it turns out, one of their salads is apparently around 1600 calories by itself. I'm glad I never got that one.
BTW, I could post this in your diary but I'm too lazy to cruise back over right now (seriously, I'm a slug today)...have you thought about some cute cargo pants for the "transitionally bigger thigh/smaller waist" phase of your body? They are attractive, casual but you can dress up or down for most occassions, not expensive, and way looser enough in the hip/thigh area while still fitting in the waist.
And the day I can walk into Cheesecake Factory and order a salad is not a day I forsee in the near future.....I know my limitations...
Kim: I hope you find cherries...I'm loving them right now and will miss them when they disappear again! Other than a nice water this afternoon, today is a gardening free zone...I'm expecting the next four days to be a bit of controlled chaos so I'm proactively chilling today - mentally and physically...playing on the 'puter, dipping in and out of a good book, eating a crap load of roasted veggies, watching "Charmed" and drooling over some of the cute outfits..you know, intelligent, gown-up stuffMMMM Cherries, I need to find a farmers market around here that has those, I can't find them in the stores currently, and I'm craving them big time. I used to find them all over the place in California. They just don't grow here so they have to be shipped in. Not so great!! Well, any head way on that garden yet??? Did you check out the pics in Beth's diary on her yard??
