I don't know where you get all this energy, Stacy!
I was exhausted just reading that!
Hope your hubby gets better soon & that you are able to get a better sleep.

Ah, crafts really are relaxing. It´s so nice to watch something grow under your hands. YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN; STOP THINKING DIRTY THOUGHTS!

:D LOL Cate. It's the OCD.. I'm so high-strung.

:rotflmao:LaMaria! ....HeeHee....

I sure will Delsid. :seeya:

I painted a small anchor and made it look like it had been in water and the large anchor is navy with faded white stripes.
I also had these gold butterflies that are like from the 70's my mom gave me a long time ago and I painted those to blend in.
I also painted gold votive holders in a sea foam green and the glass votives are filled with sand/seashells.

Then, my baskets looked too cheesy to keep white that I have all my paints in, so I painted that and glued seashells on it. :smilielol5:

Lastly, I painted a starfish navy and glued that to lamp shade. I'm working on the room today and will take pics when finished. :)

I found just what I needed to complete the room at Hobby Lobby and At Home..(It used to be a Garden Ridge.)

Took this yesterday.
I really like my new cut. I asked her to give me medium layers instead of keeping the long layers.
It helps my natural curl to look more styled rather than be a big mess...
I'm always asked what kind of perm I have by strangers.. :rotflmao:
When I tell them that this happened once pregnant and giving birth, they look at me like I'm crazy..
My hair was strait with just normal body before expecting..
Hormones are just crazy I tell ya!

:p When I change my hairdresser she´ll usually assume I "cheat" on her at first by letting someone else do my color... which is just what I get naturally. Sounds like you had a lot of fun!

Here are pics of the den. ;)

Just found out something I had ordered for the 4th shelf of bookcase is on back order until July!
Canceled it and will just go back to At Home store and pick up something similar to what I wanted. *sigh*

Good grief, I was just there. *grumble*

LaMaria: ;) lol... I would LOVE to have my hair colored at salon! Just can't afford it. I am a natural blonde (was a beautiful butterscotch color until I reached my teens.. It slowly became a darker blonde; very light brown with natural blonde highlights.) BUT, in my mid 30's I started to get greys coming in and the Nice & Easy box color (other brands too) will give you a red tint when you use the "blonde" hair color and even clown orange!
:smilielol5:Learned that the hard way! lmbo

My salon lady told me it all depends on your body chemistry re: box colors. Most people cannot go blonde by the box even if they are natural blondes.
It has to be done at salon so they can use/blend colors to cancel out the red/orange tint that develops.

So, I'm stuck as a light brown brunette... Dumb grey hair!

Thanks Cate! :)

Well, back to work... It's my scrub cleaning day/laundry..
I will get back to my work outs starting tomorrow. Finally feeling better now that tom has left the building!

Stacy, I love your curly hair - it has "body" to it...but I definitely get the hormones thing having a HUGE effect on our maine...my hair has been all sorts of crazy during my almost 30yrs of life, thankfully these days it's more manageable and I have been only hydrating - trying to get back to life these last 2yrs after much damage due to coloring/Brazilian blowouts....I've been dying to experiment putting some coconut oil in it...supposedly it's REALLY GOOD for your hair, making it shiny and healthy (using it only 1x a week)...I currently take vitamins for hair, nails and the skin...it's the only vitamin that I take that doesn't make me nauseous...I really don't take anything else, nor shakes or supplements.

Hope all is well with you...keep up with your fitness goals and you will get there! You are always so busy...and are quite a handywoman...working around the house with your crafts! haha ;-) love it.

Sending you a big hug darling!

My wife manages to rack up gift cards to get her hair did, between birthday, mother's day and xmas. I keep telling her I like her natural color, but she likes the pro experience. She does put a green streak in for me, mainly cuz I grew up watching Japanimation and always had a thing for green-haired girls.

I'm sorry honey, but I missed your birthday. I remember you saying it was coming up(28th?) & I thought I would remember on the day, but obviously I didn't :blush5:
I hope you had a lovely birthday Stacy & were spoiled by your family. Much love, xoxo Cate
