I know what you mean, it seems like I'll bust my a$$ too, stall out and then rest for a day or two (or three lol) and then SHAAABAM! ... weird, but gotta love it! ;)

I'm just hoping that my last 15+ pounds come off gradually and show on the scale if that makes sense... but I don't think I have any control over that....:ack2:
 
January 9 2009

It's Monday and I just finished lunch. Typical turkey and cheese with a yogurt. There are cookies sitting in the lounge, but they don't even kind of look or sound good. I had a yoplait light yogurt which I find to be wickedly sweet and fixes whatever sweet tooth I might have at the time.

Tonight is WO2 and lots of reading. All my classes involve reading and writing which I am totally down for. So far I am really liking all my classes and my Nurtition teach is pretty awesome! :)

That's about all for now.....
 
So just as a heads up I'm going to post a few pics from this coming weekend. We are doning a race tomorrow and the camera is going along. Also, just wanted to post a few updated pics since I'm down pounds and am feeling confident.
 
Dee did you notice that your previous post says January 9th 2009?? That's too funny haha. Can't wait to see the pics my dear :)
 
Okay, I can tell everyone was anxiously waiting for new pics.

This first set is from our race on Saturday. I walked a 5k with my parents... and Stephen ran. We all had a great time, Stephen took a few pics while Mom and I were approaching the finish line.

Stephen finished in 26:37
Dad Finished in 46:??
Mom and I in: 55:02 (as you can see in the pics)

It was a great day and I am so proud of BOTH my parents!! Hopefully I have sparked an intrested in them... they are both planning their next race. :)
 
And here is a few pics from my photo shoot this evening... Stephen had fun and hopefully I dont offend anyone with my bra shots. I might have gotten slightly "dolled up" for these, but they represent my new found confidence. :)

I just wanted to tell you that you look stunning in all of your pics. Those jeans are obviously a bit big on you since they are scrunching up all over the place. Anyways. you look soo amazing and you look soo skinny now girl! You're legs are really shaping up now! I'm so happy for you!

I'm right behind you in the weight category. I will see the 130's tomorrow!! I am thinking that I can probably lose another 5 lbs in two more weeks if I keep doing what I'm doing and just continue to avoid temptation and drinking and all. Then, I'll be 135 like you!! I'm soooo stoked!!! Tomorrow I'll be saying 120's here I come!!! :)

Thanks Amanda. And yes those jeans are huge actually, but I love them so much and they were expensive I can't bare to get rid of them! :)

Its amazing how much I've changed physically and mentally since joining this forum... I honestly don't know where I would be without it.

I'm so excited for you to be back on track!! And to be right on my heels!! Woot Woot! Hitting the 120s will be a huge mile stone for me and it would be awesome if we did it together!!

Okay, so now that the challenge is over its time to set a new goal. Or rather update the old. I've been working with Steve w/nutrition and workout schedules and I plan to keep on it for the next few months. Or through March at least. I feel like I'm getting somewhere finally! And its a great feeling. I'm no longer just shooting in the dark and hoping this or that works.

I'm in the middle of my half marathon training. I decided to turn the 12 week program into a 24 week program doing each week twice. This gives me time to work on speeding up my short runs and to give my body time to adjust to the longer runs. I am on week 5. I will be running 12.5 miles in total this week with my long run on Satruday being 5 miles. I'm ready for it... my mentality is: "if I can do 4 miles why can't I do 5?" Simple as that.

I have my eye set on a 10k March 15, the plan is to finish in under 90 mins. We will see!!

I've decided to start posting my food in here again... although I am good about tracking my cals/macors I figured it wouldnt hurt to be accountable in one more place.

Weight wise I am hoping to get into the 120s by April 1st and then once again re-evaluate. I never thought I would be sitting at 135 but here I am... which makes me believe possibilites are ENDLESS!!!

Breaskfast: ON protein w/1 c skim milk, 1/3 c strawberries
AM Snack: 1 med banana
Lunch: Turkey sandy w/cheese, 1 dill pickle, 1 cheese stick, 1 kozy shack tapioca
PM snack: 1 med apple, 1 tbs pb
PM post run: ON protein w/1 c water, 1/3 c strawberries
Dinner: 3oz lean pork, 1 svg prego, 1/2 c mushrooms and onions, 1/2 c spaghetti, 2 chocolates

1576 cals/46.3g fat/159.4g carb/135.9g protein
