OOUUU!! Girl, that is FANTASTIC! Good for you. That has to feel good, really good. Keep up the great work!! Getting there is half the battle, maintaining will be the other half. Get rid of all your bigger clothes. That way if you were to gain a few pounds your clothes (size 8's) would be tight, prompting immediate motivation to drop a few pounds so you can breathe when you sit down. LOL My friend Amie does this technique and it works! I've never tried it because my weight has never held constant long enough...but that is going to change.
I'm about to do some major spring cleaning in my closet. I've got clothes of all sizes...I don't even know which ones fit properly anymore. The majority are way too big. I held on to a few "skinny jeans" from when I was smaller years ago but I'm thinking most of those will go too since they are becoming out of style. Time to re-vamp the wardrobe once I get to 135!! Thanks for putting together our 135 or bust thread. I'm super motivated to get there w/you ladies! No turning back...
I feel like I am pretty good at maintaining because I typically lose a large amount and then maintain that loss for several months before trying for another loss... and I feel like I will always have a goal that pertains to my physical being!
Ha I clean out my closet all the time seemingly. Especially recently because nothing fits. The majority of my jeans were size 12s and I am finally getting rid of the last of those and a few size 10s. I'm going to try to wait until the spring to buy any new clothes, but I needed jeans badly since I wear them everyday....
I am happy that the 135 thread is working out!! Its so nice to have an all girl support system!!!
