Thanks lady!! He has finally snapped out of it I think. We started truck shopping this weekend and I think that really boosted his spirits... he is getting back to his old self again.![]()
Truck shopping will DO THAT to a man
Anyway, I am pretty hungry and kinda want to get a breakfast burrito and I think I will, plain and simple. I'm not going to deprive myself of something I want... it will only make me eat something worse in the long run.
Hey, good job on doing your best on the Nutrition exam, despite all the obstacles and crappy circumstances.
And YES I like this attitude, from what I seen around here the people who deprive themselves (and this went for me, too--at times) ended up binging later. I think that a 100-300 calorie surplus in a given day, of healthy, whole foods is easy to make up for and much better than a 500-1000 calorie surplus of junk food or sugar or alcohol from a binge-fest. I have made that mistake. The worse case scenario is when I've binged on something that wasn't even that tasty. THAT pisses me off the most, so I avoid it by allowing myself whatever I want, just making myself want something delicious AND nutritious.Anyway, Stephen's dad is all excited that I am training for a half marathon.
ALL RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES! Glad to hear it!!!!

I hope it all works out, either way, it's probably a total relief for him, it being retrieved.
