It"s Gonna Fit Darnit!

I have these two pair of pants that I bought thinking I would fit into them but I realized they were a size or two too small :( I hope to be able to wear one of those pants to the first day back at school just to show myself that all the struggles that I went through this summer didn't go to waste :)
 
It is so good to have something like that to aim for ... its a real motivator ;) I'm sure you'll fit into them in no time :)
 
I bought two new shirts the other day. That was fun. I do look better in smaller shirts that fit better. Imagine that.
 
I am going yard sale hunting for clothes today. Yesterday I got a nice new sweater for $1.
I hate to pay top dollar for something I may not wear for long cuz of my weight losses.
And if the item is too small, I put it in a box for later use.
I am being optimistic..:p
Slowly but surely the weight is coming off.:cool:
Yesterday I overdid the calories cuz my friends and I unexpectedly went to a restaurant. I should have ordered a salad, but opted for the appetizer plate.
I thought it would not be much, but it was a LOT of calories.
So today & tomorrow I am really cutting back on calories to make up for it.

Hello all
I would love to be able to fit into this yellow vintage marilyn monroe type bathing suit that I bought recently and also a pair of shorts by the end of August!!!! Well then I guess I should start counting those calories. LOL
 
I bought a gorgeous pair of white pants size 28 waist. I'm size 33 waist right now. I figure I'll need to lose fifteen pounds to get into these. This was my weight as a teenager (135) and I'm 44 years old, so I may not be able to do it. But I'm going to try.
 
I think you should totally aim for that goal. Age may make it a more difficult journey, but I am sure that you can do it if you put your mind to it ;)

Hey thanks for the vote of confidence. I was down today...lawyer's bill for my divorce is three thousand, car cost almost a thousand and dental bill is in the thousands ... AND I found out today my son's average isn't high enough to get into university. So I was mighty tempted to eat junk food as a consolation after work. But I didn't and thank you for the boost in your post.

Life kicks us in the balls, but we KICK right back, right girls??? Ha HA!!
