It has been 10 months

I thought I would post some pictures of myself. I will include 10 month ago pictures and current pictures to make a comparison. Tell me if I have improved on anything. Sorry for the bad quality pictures.

My Diet: eat what i can. I do not have time to have a schedule of what i eat.
My workout: Try to do full body.
Weight: 155 (morning weight)
BF: dunno
Height: 6' 1"

BEFORE Front

AFTER Front

BEFORE Back

AFTER Back

FULL Body (looks like i am taking a crap LOL :yelrotflmao:)

You look like you have gotten a little bigger. Are you pleased with your results?

You look like you could do with a pretty hearty bulk in my opinion. Just eat like a demon of all the right stuff. I see your goal says get big and stay lean. If you bulk and add some fat I wouldnt worry if I was you. You look like you could lose some fat pretty easy.

BULK

"lean" is all very relative. Right now you're at a very low BF. You will still look very lean and muscular if you bulk up and gain maybe 7-10% body fat.

6' 1", 155lbs, and 10 months of training.

What was your starting weight? How old are you?

And, I too, believe you should add some lean tissue mass, and closely examine the diet leading up to the 10 months of training, and then apply some changes for the future.

What is included in your FBW?

Alex has the common AX and has chopped muscle TRACKS, and these are the bare FACTS; so Alex, dont RELAX----ROCK ON to the fricken MAX!

Welcome to the forum! :)

ROCK ON!

Mild progress. I don't mean to be to blatant but you've got good genetics, use them. Eat.

Damn man, you have such a low bf i see veins popping up all over the place. very lean and cut, very nice. I see definite improvements in the back but i agree with the others when they say bulk

Before i started training i was just plain skin and bones. I had no muscle on me and i probably weighed around 140 or 145. I have been trying so hard to gain weight. I eat a lot of rice, spaghetti and meat (try to). I eat a lot of fruit as well. I am 21 right now.

My current situation is very strange right now. Ever since i started to train I feel like i have not been able to push myself to the max because of my metabolism and low BF. I do great at the beginning of my workout but at the end of the workout i start getting a little sick and sometimes have to cut it short because i feel like i am gonna barf (has happened twice already). I know i am at my limit because my ears start to feel like i am flying in an airplane and my mouth gets really dry. I have tried to eat fruit before a workout with minimal result, i have tried to drink complex carbs, simple carbs and even a protein shake with no results. I have taken energy pills (Spike), it has helped a little bit but i am still not happy with the fact that i have to cut my workout short sometimes due to lack of energy.

On a workout day with my dad i start off with 5 min cardio just to warm up. My gym is small so not all the machines are available at all times, when me and my dad train we do bench press, squats, deadlifts, barbell curls, cable pulldown for back, cable pulldown for tricep, incline crunches, pec flys. Sometimes i throw in different exercises just to mix it up a little bit.

I hate to say it but i am not the type of person who likes to have a step by step program and do it by that, i know i will hear some complaints about it, but i just cant do it. Same thing with my diet, i just cant have a fixed plan because my parents always make something different everyday and most of the time i do not have the time to make the same food as the day before.

Believe me, i would LOVE to have a solid 160 or 165. I eat so much at work and at home that people start to think i have a worm in my stomach. I eat when I can, even if i am still a little full. I do not want to take anything other than a protein shake, multi and fish oil as my supplements.

List out what you eat. Chillen is right. From staying that lean we can't even begin to determine if your routine is working. Just by looking at you, and your progress, I can tell if you want to get bigger, your just not eating enough.

Almost everyone says some variation of, 'I already eat tons!!!'. Which may be true; But here it is, calculate out how many calories are in 'so much' and add 500-750/day. Then in 10 months, your progress will be better.

Tomorrow i will try and calculate how many calories I eat and i will post.

Can you suggest some high caloric healthy foods? I can eat almost anything except seafood and oriental food.

Eat as much peanut butter and any type of nuts you can.

Peanut butter is 90 calories per table spoon, and I think about 22 pieces of nuts is around 180 calories? Somewhere around there.

and if your metabolism is really really fast and you cant gain, you can always make a blender bomb

PB's bomb:
3 cups milk
2 banannas
4tbs natural peanutbutter
2tbs flax seed oil(probably wont even taste it)
1 scoop whey protein(optional)

that has over 1000 calories and its healthy
i like liquid food..its easier to get down

I saw your blended bomb recipe in another post and was gonna try to give it a shot. I just need to pick up some flax seed oil from a local store and some PB.

I am four years removed from 50..........dont tell me what your young butt,,,,,,,CANT DO!

I m gonna lite a fire of WANT under your BUTT,,,,,,,,,,and change.

I am gonna try the Blender Bomb and see how that affects my body. Some foods affect my skin in a negative way (acne) especially if they are really high in sugar. I have tried many approaches to find energy, i am starting to run low on money here too LOL. The large muscle group exercises such as deadlifts and squats put a big toll on my energy vault and i run out fast. I just need to find a little bit more motivation and get rid of my mangina LOL.

Some people have great genetics like you Chillen. I have seen your pictures and i must say you look amazing for your age. I am sure you have a very strict diet plan and workout regiment. I do not know how much time you have devoted in order to perfect them but i have school and a full time job i must take care of. So I do not always have the time to make a regimen. Although i might try to make a solid workout routine for myself (FBW). My work schedule always changes so my gym days change every week, which i do not like at all.

Right now i am happy the way I am, i dont have a fire under my ass to gain muscle mass. We each have our own goals. If that Blender Bomb works and tastes great i will drink it and gain some mass to improve my figure.

What I highlighted, is fair enough.

I wish you the best of luck.

Sorry Alex dude but they are 2 of the most over used excuses. Genetics aren't preventing you from gaining muscle, your diet is. Eat more and you will grow
If you saw the effort Chillen puts into his appearance you'd realise that genetics has absolutely nothing to do with it

As for time, if you want to gain muscle you'll find the time; period.

I know you said that gaining muscle isn't a passion of yours and that's fair enough but if you're going to spend time lifting in the gym then the least you can do is eat more and give your body a helping hand
