Is this good?

I've been working out hard for about 7 months and I weigh about 180lbs. I was curious if benching 225 was considered decent or average? Also I wanted to know how my workout routine looked.

Monday
Pecs
triceps
back

Tuesday
bicep
forearm
shoulders

wednesday
legs

Thursday
Pecs
triceps
back

Friday
bicep
forearm
shoulders

hmm...well, from what ive come to understand, u could be overtraining. chest, for example, should be done once a week. like monday u do ur chest and tri's, tuesday something else, wednesday something else, etc and repeat the schedule the following week. u also probably shouldnt lift 2 days in a row. like, u could lift mon, wed, and fri, and do something else the other days, but leave a day or two for off days. and 225 is pretty damn good in my book. other people on here will be able to explain things a lot better than me and will be able to expand and elaborate on and even correct what ive said. im just giving u more of an idea.

Give more details, exercises, sets, reps, everything. No, it isn't good. From the looks of it, it's too much and a lot of muscles are being overworked and because of that there isn't time for your body to rest recover and repair.

agree with this. have you considered a full body 3 days a week?

Could you please link me to a decent workout routine then? Also what is a full body workout?

A full body workout is doing around 6-8 execises that hit all major muscle groups. It focuses more on big compound lifts that hit a broader range of muscles than breaking it down in to groups and isolating them.

my favorite full body workout program

not to say its the best, just a very good one to get you started on the right track.

I wouldn't think your split too bad, but you need more rest, and your muscle groupings are kinda wrong. you hit triceps and shoulders when you work the chest, so those will already be 'tore up' on tuesday...and since you need biceps for many back exercises, tues back stuff will suffer as biceps will not be 100%.

i also saw no ab work.

What's your goal? If you're building up, I'd recommend almost any Chad Waterbury program.

overtraining ur bis too much....and u should fit in at least 2 full body workouts....and remember more is not better....be sure to rest alot....if u feel pain or sorness when working out...thats how u know ur doing too much

malklore gave a good link and good advise
and as junkfood says fullbody 3x a week thats the way most people start and get the best results.
