Is this a problem?

Thanks man, yeah maybe my fat might be a little low. I think I need more peanut butter LMAO

I eat pretty much the same stuff for breakfast and snacks, but we try to change it up for dinner (and hence my leftovers for lunch. I have to stick with the whole grain pasta, brown rice and PB because they pack such a caloric punch

...another thing about the cardio is (now I may be sadistic) but I enjoy it

...and yes, I've been accused of being anal about my diet. I take my own food with me wherever I go. I've eaten out only twice in the past 6 months and then I had them make everything special LOL

This probably contributes to your issue:

NEAT can account to up to 700 calories of additional expenditure, if not more.

And if you work a strenuous job.... yea, it adds up.

I'm not really worried about it, I'll just bump up my calories to 4000 at least for a while and concentrate on making most of those calories from healthy fats. I don't think I've lost much if any muscle, but I don't want to start.

The first pics in this thread are of me at about 210 I think I've pretty much just lost fat

I'm a stay at home dad so I'm on my feet a lot, and I guess I might have some nervous energy sometimes (that's one of the reasons I like the long cardio-It burns some of that energy off)

Yea, I'm more in this thread still b/c you've got me intrigued, lol. I know you aren't worried.

Happy eating!

Figure this one out:

Bear in mind I always weigh myself the same way at the same time of day, which is first thing in the morning, no clothes after using the bathroom and before eating/drinking anything.

Yesterday I was 186 and change. Today I was 188.2 I have the most bizarre system ever LOL

? I've been like that all my life. I think metabolism can just vary. Most people are all close to the same, but some are at the ends of the bell curve

I think when I have enough posts to make my own title I'll use that Chillen

theGOOCH
Calorie Bustin' Furnace

LOL

I was just thinking...

I run on my elliptical machine on the highest level for an hour. It says I burn over 2000 calories. I always thought that was preposterous and it was way off. Is it possible I really burn that much?

I don't know, seems high. If I were to run at a decent pace for an hour, I think the machine says I run 1000 cals or so. But that is of course just what the machine is programmed to say for my weight...who knows?

I'd be SHOCKED if you burned anywhere near that much, even at the highest level of the elliptical.

For comparison sake: running 9 mph (6:30 pace) for 1 hr, if you weigh 190 lbs, comes in just under 1300 calories.
