is this a good routine?

Okay first of all i am new to working out i worked out for about 2 years before gained no mass but could lift a ton more than when i started however i wasnt eating right and getting good protien but thats changed i understand it now also i work out every muscle everyday.. I herd its good to work one group a day. I also like to run everyday atleast a mile which i do at the end of my lifting. How does
Monday - chest, dumbell chest press, dumbell decline press, decline fly, and fly.
I am trying to get a good idea on how this workout routine goes. Is it okay to do all uperarms one day or to triceps one day and biceps the other. Also is it okay to work legs and abs everyday or not. Sorry for the questions im just looking for advice

You need a good fresh start here.

I would just start with a pre made routine either full body 3x a week or a upper/lower split. There is just no need for you to train your bodyparts that way, and never a need to train any muscle everyday.

I would really suggest getting "new rules for lifting" or looking around this forum and reading what people have to say about working out. You might even want to get with a personal trainer.

whats your goal mate.

hi mate, can i ask what your goal is...

if you are wanting to add mass try a 3 day split, or try a routine like the last post. hiring a personal trainer for a few sessions will be a good help to get you started. im currently doing a 3 day split consisting of ,,...

day 1: chest and tries. using benches/swiss balls
day 2: back and bies. throwing in 20 mins fat burning cv.
day 3: shoulders and legs. 30 mins abbs.

if you have a 4th day try body weight exercises,eg.. pushups, pullups, dips, etc or cv circuit training to blowtorch stubburn fat.

hope this helps.. boxerkick:)
