is it wrong for chest to be bit stiff after workout ?

hey
is it bad if my chest is a bit stiff and slightly sore after a workout ... its not really that sore ..more kinda stiff .
i eat lotta protein ... i know that will recuperate the muscle .. but i was just wondering if its a common thing ... that maybe wat im feeling is a bit of growth.

Wait til tomorrow or the next day when you walk down the stairs and your pecs feel like they're bouncing and rippin off the bone. Man it can hurt like hell.

sorry but one more thing ... say you let your muscles rest for 48 hours or more ... but say some of them are still sore (ie chest) .. if theyre still sore or stiff is it important not to work them out at that time?

them being sore still, does that mean they have not recovered yet ?
