is it ok to eat something before a work out?

ok im going to go for a cardio work out tomorrow morning.. should i wait to eat after it or could i eat before it? what would give me better results for weight loss..

then im doin weights training later tomorrow night.. same thing.. should i eat before or after?
 
For weight loss it is recommended to eat after the workout so you are burning stored fat as opposed to calories you just ate. Unfortuatley for me when I try this I lack energy and never get as good of a workout when so I eat something beforehand. If you can get a good workout that way though, good for you.

i'd disagree, if your working out, its best to eat something before, not because you need energy, but because it jump starts your metabolism as well.

if you do not eat before working out, you may be susceptible to passing out. and I'm not joking.

if you wanna lose weight, follow your daily intake of calories with a diet/exercise plan
 
I eat a little before working out just to make sure I don't pass out or get hypoglycemic. (Well, that's me. My blood sugar's off.)

This only applies to fasted cardio in the AM. Not weight training.
