Is it bad to do cardio the same day you workout?

I'd try to either seprerate the cardio on different days or different times of the day OR if you must do them both in the same session, I'd suggest to do cardio after your weight training.
 
I like to do my cardio in the morning before work and then hit the weights in the afternoon after work. That's actually a good practice for those with desk jobs such as myself. Just an idea :)

Right on bro. That's excactly what I do.
 
the biggest reason not to do cardio immediately followed by weights, is your cardio saps a lot of energy, and starts pushing you into catabolism, which is exactly where you don't want to be when you're lifting weights.
make cardio second, on a different day, or split into two different times of the day like Abear does.

Morning cardio is a good way to start the day. I hate morning workouts becuase my CNS just isn't ready for a brutal workout until I've been up for two hours. fine on weekends, terrible on weekdays.
