Is coffee bad for working out??

Ive heard rumors that coffee makes ur abs soft and stuff like that... is this true? does it effect your muscles?

nope. i wouldn't put table sugar in yoru coffee though. not good carbs.

but no, coffee alone won't give you soft abs or (as my ex g/f's grandma once told me) turn your toenails black.
 
There is one negitive thing with caffee. If you're a serious bodybuilder, you're obviously going to be working out for more than 30min, most likely 45 min - 1.5 hours, depending on your speed, and intensity.

After about 30 min of working out, the effect of caffeine begins to ware off, making you feel more fatigued than usaul.
