Is 25 min jog and little bit sprint enough to burn fat?

I just wanted to know if 25 min jog and little bit sprint is enough to burn fat?If not what is the best exercise for fat burner.Ive been eating less because i wanna loose gut a little bit .
 
your diet will decide if you burn fat or not.
If you eat 3000cals a day and burn 2000, then start doing cardio. Lets say this cardio burns 500 cals, that means you burn 2500, but your still eating 3000. So you will not be burning fat. But lets say you were eating 2250 cals before you added the cardio, then you would be burning fat.

HIIT is probobly the best way to go if you want to burn alot of cals. do a search for it here on the site. Beware, true HIIT is very demanding so doing it too often could quickly cause a burnout.
 
Karky is right. Losing weight will depend mostly on your diet. He's also right about HIIT. If you're looking for a 25 minute cardio workout, HIIT is ideal. You should only be able to do 20-30 minutes of HIIT. Also, like Karky said, HIIT is demanding, so you might wanna try doing it only3-4 times a week, or every other day.
 
in the beginning, you dont even need 20-30 minnutes. It all depends how good shape you are in though, regardless, HIIT is likley to be humbeling.
Id start with 15 min 2 times a week. If its all good, do 3 times a week. Once you get in better cardiovascular (sp?) shape, upp the time. if you do TRUE HIIT not like 5 min run, 5 min jogg. but INTENSE intervals, thats likley all you need because you will be pretty shot after it. I tried 1 min fast 2 min slow for 15 minnutes on my first session, and it absolutley killed me! (though i was in pretty bad shape then)
 
HIIT still kills me, but I've grown to respect it and love it for what it does for me. Losing fat is a simple puzzle, but one that needs to be put together nonetheless. You have to combine proper nutrition, with HIIT, some steady state runs, and lifting weights to maintain muscle. Good luck amigo!
