Is 1RM Self-Deception at best?

dont get the argument ???
lifters cant run 4min miles
distance runners cant bench 500lbs
etc.etc .etc .etc.etc.
if you want endurance you train for it,if you want strength you train for it,if you do both you will never exell at either,if your happy with that fair enough.

I hear that, running a 4 min mile while benching 500 lbs is HARD!

I think we should try an experiment.. we need a one mile slightly decline slope, a bench on wheels, and a stupid person.
