IMO someone who hasn't achieved **** themselves hasn't earned the right to knock the teachings of those who have
Do you also believe only people with vaginas can be gynecologists? But who's mocking teachings? You're all jumping back and forth. And arguing with things I never actually said. Besides which, just because I can't squat 700 lbs doesn't mean I've never achieved anything. But, y'see, I'm not insecure enough to argue the point in a desperate bid for your approval. Lucky for you.
If you're lifting more than the average juicing gym rat then maybe it's time for some more picture updates. Maybe we could get a juicing gym rat to put his up too just to see how weak he is
Get your squat over 700lbs and then come back and comment
Take this, for example. Same as in your previous post, you jump back and forth between defending the logical extreme of the thing (the IFBB Pro) and its antipode (the gym rat). (That "big word" was for mreik.

)
How many gym rats do you know who can squat over 700 lbs, exactly? I have yet to see a one with more than 350 lbs of free weight on the bar (for parallel squats that were more like quarter squats), I kid you not. I can full squat 300, currently, and anticipate being able to parallel squat 700 by the end of next year. When I do, what will you say to me, then, in order to avoid addressing the actual point? Will you fall back to the old standby of my 'just not getting it'?
If you want to argue the extreme, argue the extreme. If you want to argue the recreational "bodybuilder", which seems to be what some of you are doing , that's a different game. In the case of i_love's friend, not even what I would call "a bodybuilder", as ,once again, and I thought this had been made very clear, I was talking of extremes. Though a different one than I am now putting forth (the extreme of emphasizing physique and size thereof above every other consideration). Was/is her "bodybuilder" friend a 250 lb behemoth? I'm in doubt, given when she said about his other interests. Well, assuming she's not
really out of shape.
I honestly don't understand what y'all are being so sensitive about. Mreik in particular. Someone please explain to me what's so offensive about saying, 'I don't think it's very bright to gun for muscular size and definition over all other considerations, but to each his own, and I definitely respect the prompt to self-actualization!' I mean that's all I did. Then I merely replied to comments that addressed me or something I said directly or generally.
It is my observation that for people who subscribe to what Henry wrote about being Ironheads (Ozzy, I love yoo :luxlove

, you guys sure get your panties in a twist easily. It is, after all, only talk, seeking always to arrive at the truth through an exchange of ideas. Still waiting on one, though. A coherent argument, that is.
But, just to be sure of this, I will address the last comment directly:
You're naive focus. You assuming that all BBrs are solely action figures couldn't be more wrong.
I agree, as I'm fairly sure I never actually said anything from which one might derive that particular implication.
I don't want to get into it because all you'll do is break apart my post sentence by sentence and throw together a host of words with a few metaphors and in the end say nothing new.
Uh.. huh. Try reading this particular snippet of yours, re-reading your own previous post, and then telling me who is not saying anything new. Test of honesty!
I realize this is intended as some sort of insult, but I actually
do enjoy ignorance. Unknown unknowns are in my opinion the best of the four types of knowledge. Sort of like how black is my favorite "color". A void is a very exciting thing! And, there you go, some philosophy.
This is me, going out of my way to confirm your irrational bias! Now, if we're lucky, nobody will notice that it's only the trench you've dug to hold your indefensible position, and maybe we can get back to talking about how awesome Henry Rollins is. ^_^
ps fitlife tact is just not saying true things
