Had a bad day eating today. depressing.


Think it might be due to stresses from college work etc, i know i cant use excuses!! Must start good again tomorrow.

Hi girls and boys! Today i got the biggest wake up call EVER. I have been eating very shitty over the last month and the first thing i did this morning was weigh myself. THE SCALES READ 16 stone 11 lbs!! I could not get over it. I have gained 13 pounds in a month! THATS NEARLY A STONE. It completly made me realise that i have to give this 100 percent if i want to succeed. I have got the biggest drive in ages to eat clean now. God in my head i keep thing 16stone 11, 16s 11!!


I am so swamped with college stuff at the moment its horrible:( but im not going the tests and essays stop me from eating clean!! I will put 20 mins aside each day to write in my journal.


So day 1 nearly down and im feeling gooooooood.My plan for the next 14 days (at least) is to eat between 1200-1300 cals a day and to exercise for an hour a day!I know its going to be hard but i did it before i can do it again.


So far ive eaten 739.5 and plan to eat up to 1200:)

ALets get our show back on the road together girly :) I am aiming for 6 perfect days along with Kate. We have to do it! There was a time when we were so into this healthy eating thing, and we can get back to that place again. We have to force ourselves. The first week is probably the hardest part.... When we get through it we'll be on autopilot.

I used to always avoid the scale like I owed it money when I was eating bad! At least you caught the setback in time and now it sounds like you've got one heck of a fire lit under you!


I so feel you on the school thing - balancing school and weight loss can be really challenging - anymore I have to pre-plan what I'm going to eat and when, just like I do studying so that I make sure I'm not snacking all the time, or forced to grab fast food because I have no time.


Keep it up and congrats on a good day 1!!
 
Day 2 down!! Im so so happy, these last 2 days have been the best ive eaten in the last month. I consumed 1351 calories and i danced for 40 mins. I am noticing though i am not drinking ANY water. So i must increase that. Tasted sushi for the first time today and i loved it!!!!!!! jk, i thought it was disgusting:( i suppose one man's meat is another man's poison.


Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend!

Ruth, im delighted i have day 2 down and im feeling delighted with myself. It feels so good to be on this journey again. I mean i obviously cant eat what i have been doing the last month but its so much worth it eating healthy because i know i will lose weight that way:) Your aiming for 6 perfect days with Kate? I so want to do this girly. I really want to do 6, i also want to do 13 this time just to see can i do it! But god if i get to 6 it will be a miracle. Anyway i love how the 2 of us are being all positive:)

Kate im so excited about doing 6 perfect days! Im on day 2 and its kinda hard, im not going to lie. BUT SO WORTH IT. You always inspire me Kate, please be there with your stick if i step out of line in my diet because i really wanna do well from now to chriiiiiiiistmaaaas time

Hey Sparked, thanks for visiting my diary:) So sweet of you to stop by, yeah i have been avoiding the scales for the entire month i say, so when it read 16 11, 16 11, i practically freaked out. I have never been so determined now.


Yeah isnt dieting when your in college the hardest??? Everyone else is going for lunch getting fattening hot chicken rolls and drinking everynight of the week, and that apple you brought for lunch doesnt look so appetising then ha.


Yeah i defo will have to pre pack my food for college abit more in to detail next week!!

Day 3 down! 1839 cals consumed! I must keep watch on portion control, kinda went abit crazy today. Anyway 1839 calories is still 1000 deficit from what i need to maintain my weight!

I've read most of your journal, and I have no doubt you can kill any of the weight you gained, and way more! Have you ever looked back and reread your journey? Heck, it motivates me, so you never know, re-reading it might give you even more drive! I know it's tough at college since it's not like students are best known for eating healthy.. I swear I ate SO MUCH when I was at Uni.. we used to buy big packs of cookies and god knows what else and just chow down.. makes me cringe so much when I think back on it! Prepacking it is definitely the way to go! By my third year, I was packing my lunch and also making sure I only had enough actual cash on me to buy my bus fare with £1 spare.. was a case of buying junk food, or walking home! Guess which one I chose! :D

Haha i wished i loved it though because its so low in calories plus i remember when i was younger i used to read that all the celebs used to love eating it! Well i have to disagree with them, its raaaank! haha

And I'm with you on the sushi thing, Idk why I had such an obsession with it in high school.. It was all the rage (it still is) one day I just got sick of it. Anyway, take it a day at a time:hurray:

I read somewhere that food is more addicting than cocaine, and i have to agree with that! After 21 years of being obese its only now im starting to do something about my weight? its crazy. Anyway DAY 4 nearly completed and i've consumed 720 calories so far today and 1.5 litres of water:) SUCCESS. Im going to eat up to 1200 cals:) Im feeling so positive at the moment, thank god i started eating good again or else i would have gained back alllll the weight i lost and even gotten bigger:O imagine!!


This is what i ate today:

3 fruit buscuits

A whole meal tuna sandwhich with tomato.

apple

banana

1.5 litres water

can of diet coke


Im going to continue my 30 day challenge questions again because i feel i deserve to as im eating well. So watch this space tomorrow! hehe


X-factor tonight and 2 people are being eliminated! Oh Ruth i hope you are watching it too;)

Thanks a mill Kate, im so happy im back into this entire eating healthy malark again! My weigh day is thursday and im actually excited! I really haven't had a proper weigh in day in over a month :O

Hey Irish, 21 (even though I know it doesn't feel like it!) is still super young, I wish I had gotten my crap together when I was 21, be grateful you are taking care of it now and just think of all the time you'll have to enjoy it! So glad to hear you're feeling positive, that's the best kind of motivation!

Hey I seem to have missed a couple of posts... I LOVE sushi!! I prefer to make it myself though, I've never liked mayo and usually the stuff you buy is full of it. Ick. I have an awesome little sushi maker and a great recipe to do it with brown rice rather than white. I love all seafood though, so I may be biased... I think if there was one kind of food I could absolutely gorge myself on, it would be seafood. Om nom nom.

Day 5:) I forgot to watch portion control today eeek, anyway i consumed 1627 calories, and walked for 40 mins!:)


Im so swamped with college work its crazy, i got to learn how to manage my time abit more carefully from now to decemeber the 9th! Its hilarious in a way because i probably have the worst time management skills ever.


Day 10 - What was the hardest thing you gave up during your weight loss journey?

Defo mid night snacking!! Which i used to love:) Nothing beats sitting down infront of the tv with your fave fattening food!!:) thing is though all this carry on made me obese so its not such a good thing after all!! I dont eat now after 7pm and if i am staaaaaaarving at say 10 or 11 i will have an apple and it keeps me full:)


Anyway thats all for now, im not going to eat anymore for the day!!
