Hi,
I'm Necia and I'm 27 years old. Currently I weigh 240 lbs, but have been working out and losing steadily. I find myself being drawn to working with weights as I love the way my body feels afterwards.
I'm in the process of developing a few good dumbbell routines that I want to incorporate into my gym time. Currently I'm doing at least 30 minutes of cardio a day either on the ellipticals or taking some class or another.
Now I just finished limiting carbs from my diet, and now I can slowly reintroduce the good carbs. My question is, what kinds of food do I need to be eating if I'm going to focus on weight training. I want to work out with weights at least 3x's a week along with cardio. Surely I'm going to need some carbs for energy.
Another question is will my weight loss stagnate, as my fat turns to muscle?
That's about it for now. Thanking anyone that answers while I go read some of the threads.
