Bonjour mon amis! This is my first post in my little online journal, so I guess I will start by answering the questions in ths sticky. (I am such a little dork!)

-- How much weight do you want to lose?
50 pounds
-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight?
Hmmm... I want to say 6 months, but will give myself some time and say 8 months
-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)?
Working out in the mornings alone on my "free days," then again at the gym with my gym buddies, and then walking with the boyfriend. Also, trying to eat smaller portions and maybe planning out meals ahead of tiem so I don't overeat.
-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal?
my boyfriend (who better have a journal up by tomorrow! ;) ), my two bestest friends, and my cat Kobeyashi
-- How realistic is your goal?
It's semi-realistic. I'm motivated!
-- When will you start?
Right NOW! *furrows eyebrows and growls* GRRRR!

Okay, so now I am apparently supposed to tell you how much I weigh... With time perhaps I might. First post, though? Sheesh! I want to lose roughly 50 pounds. I think that is a good start in confessions! Talk to everyone tomorrow!

Welcome to the WLF - cant wait to see you loose the 50! I think you have set yourself realistic goals that are excellent and you should easily be able to make them.
 
Wishes, he hasn't set up an account yet, but if I have to, I will do it myself! Nah, not really. But I really am hoping he will set one up soon.

I woke up at about 9:30 this morning to do a workout video. It wasn't really too hard, so I don't know how much good it did... But I definitely got my metabolism going!

Breakfast:
*1 veggie corndog
*1serving baked chips
*bottled water

I'll be back later today with a new update! *Does the motivation growl* GRRR!

Hello everyone! Here is my midday update! Woohoo!

*Lunch*
*1 veggie burger, no bread
*1 veggie eggroll
*noodles from a microwaveable meal
*water! :p

I am supposed to go walking tonight, but I have a French midterm tomorrow that I HAVE to study for. I'm going to try to make time for both.

I'll update again tonight with a full report on my day! GRRR!

Here is my final update for the day. le sigh.

Breakfast:
*1 veggie corndog
*1 serving baked chips

Lunch:
*1 veggie burger patty
*1 vegetable egg roll
*noodles from some microwave dinner

Dinner: :(
*Chinese food
*1 piece chocolate candy

Please do not force me into the details of the Chinese food. It wasn't pretty. Leave it to Chinese food to be the ultimate temptation. It really wasn't THAT bad, but just the fact that it's Chinese food at a buffet is bad enough, yes?

Workout:
*1 hour cardio and stretching this morning

That's all for today. Stress from midterms is starting to get to me. :eek:
 
Mmmmmm Chinese! I think that was my first cheat meal, and I really bombed! I ate ALL, ALL I tell ya of the Chinese that came delivered in my little boxes, and normally, when not dieting I only eat like.. 1/3 of the rice and 1/2 the sweet n sour chicken.. or lomein noodles whichever I get.

Tomorrow is a new day! You are doing great. 10kg lost already! Way to go! Plus you have the added support of your significant other.
 
I had my midterm today in French and my Hamlet presentation. Fun fun... I ate breakfast today in class, during my Hamlet presentation. It was a cheese danish. 300 calories. Why, you ask? Because I was playing Rosencratz, a member of the Danish court! Oh, I am so clever! Anywho, that's all for now! Much thanks to everyone who has commented! I will be visiting all your diaries! GRRR!
 
I didn't finish my post from the other day, and I didn't log in at all yesterday. But I am happy to say that I have made out a contract of commitments to myself, and I am overly motivated now! I even listed my goals and measurements! :p

I also am going to get a ticker up soon. I just to check out the sticky on how to make a tickers. Knowing me, I will find a way to complicate it inot oblivion.

Morning Update:
Breakfast: 1 soy chicken patty
1 packet plain grits, made with water

Workout: 30 mins. Namaste Yoga (FitTV)
1 hour All Star Workouts- kickboxing (FitTV)

That's all for now! I will update again tonight with my final report.

Your diary is so fun.
I see that you eat lots of vegetarian meats. How do they taste? I'm scared to even try them. Is there a big difference in calories?
You seem to be in shape to do all those exercises!!
College? Enjoy it to the fullest. Some of my very best memories are there...;)

hey cool cat...the difference in calories exists but its not a big difference but there is difference in fats and proteins and carbs :) i also was quite distant to the idea but then i tried it and i like them very much, especially when i make them myself cause then i put what i want in it :)

anyway welcome meadow to the forum :) i already posted at your bf diary. i hope you both will reach your goals :)

really the biggest difference between vegetarian meats and real meats is texture - if you like rare meats - the it's b ig difference -if you're a well done fan - then the difference is slight... but it does have added fiber which is anice bonus
 
I love everyone here! You all make me feel so warm and fuzzy and whatnot. *gush*

Anywho, back to business. I realize that I did not finish my post for yesterday, but have no fear! I have it right here! (Can I get any more cheesy?)

Yesterday's food:
1 veg. chicken patty
1 packet plain grits
1 veg. burger patty
2 cups fried rice (not from a restaurant)

Yesterday's Workout:
Namaste Yoga (FitTV) 30 mins.
All Star WOrkouts- kickboxing (FitTV) 1 hour

Today's Food:
pb sammich: 1 piece bread w/ 1/4 serv. pb
1 veg. chicken patty
3/4 cup macaroni salad
1 serv. no fat yogurt
1 piece... cheesecake:mad:

Today's Workout:
"Cardio Cabaret" (some fitness video) 40 mins.

Me and the Nuggies are going to play tennis this afternoon. I plan on being out there fro a very long time. Stupid cheesecake. le sigh...

Cool cat: Veggie meats are lower cal than real meats, and have a much lower fat content! All in all, they are a much healthier alternative to real meats. ANd there are TONS of different brands and varieties out there. MAny of them aren't found easily in the stores, though. However, Morning Star Farm and Boca can be found pretty much everywhere. Try some out! Then maybe become a vegetarian! YAY! :D

Lena410: Thanks for the welcome! Are you a vegetarian, or do you just eat veggie meats sometimes for health reasons? Thanks for posting!:D
 
YESTERDAY'S FOOD

3/4 cup steamed rice
1/2 cup noodles
1/2 cup potatoes
2 cheesesticks
1 cheese wonton

Sigh... My dinner looks like it could be a whole day's worth of food when I write it down. And that cheesecake... :(

YESTERDAY'S WORKOUT
40 mins. "Cardio Cabaret"
Me and the boyfriend played tennis for a few minutes but not enough to amount to anything. I got frustrated and wanted to stop.
 
i'm not vegetarian but i'm open to all hehe...i just eat it sometimes to eat different :)

BREAKFAST:

*1 100 cal. snack pack
*water

SWEET:
*1 samoa girlscout cookie (If you have ever had the pleasure of letting one of these morsels pass your lips, you would know how impossible it is to see a box of them and pass up the opportunity to eat one. There are 75 cals. in one cookie, and that is all the "sweetness" I am am having today.)

LUNCH:
*1 cup Miso Soup
*2 veg. spring rolls
*1/2 cup potatoes w/ some kind of curry sauce

That's about it for now. More later... GRRRRR!
