Intense legs all in one day or spread out?

Last Wednesday I did an intense leg day where I trained for nearly an hour and a half. Dips took me the longest as I would do the right leg and then rest about 30 sec before doing the left then resting again before doing the right again. I would do 3 sets of 12 with 30 pound dumbells in each hand. This probably doesn't sound like a much but I'm a tiny lady.

Anyway, is it better to do a ton of intense exercises in one day to where your legs are so sore you can't walk or spread them during the week. I tend to spread out my arm work because I get really tired. I hate legs and like to just get them done and over. Which way will I make the most gains?

I don't know I why I'm even trying because in two weeks I'm moving to london for 4 months and will only have access to resistance bands which will not make me gain muscle mass.

Thanks

dips for legs? do you mean lunges?

some people train quads one day, hams another...others do both in one day.
I think 90 mins of training is too much though, as I doubt you're a seasoned bodybuilder...keep it to 45-60 mins.

yea, different opinions

i perfer to train the body as a whole and not to worry about splitting it up too much. so i'd vote for training your legs altogther and not splitting ;)

Here is my "planned" leg day when I have the energy.
- Leg Presses 3x10-12 and then immediatly lighten the weight to complete exhaustion
- Squats 3x10-12 and then immediatly lighten the weight to complete exhaustion

- Lunges 3x12-16
- Dips (like lunges but you go back instead of forward) 3x12-16
-Individual dips on each leg concentrating deep in the muscles without bringing the leg up. I don't know what this is called. 3x12-16

If I have the energy I go into:
-Leg extention 3x10-12 and then immediatly lighten the weight to complete exhaustion
-Leg abbduction 3x10-12 and then immediatly lighten the weight to complete exhaustion
-Calves 3x10-12 and then immediatly lighten the weight to complete exhaustion

Is this too much or should I spread out my days? I just don't feel complete unless I get my glutes workin'
