Inspired, motivated, and READY!!! :)

And I don't know how you manage to get up every morning and work out. I've set my alarm like 5 days in a row to get a morning workout in, and then turned it off 5 days in a row! Arghh! It's so hard to get up earlier than the 5:45 I have to work. Guess I'll stick to the evening for now.

I'm so excited for you!

I don't know how I do it either honestly!!! Lol... I guess once you get in the routine though it's not so hard. I can't even sleep past 6:30 on the weekends anymore!!! Thanks for stopping by and thanks for showin' some love!! :D

So guys just wanted to do a little update pic... I know everyone loves pics and I love seeing pics too so here ya go :) Today I put on these jeans for the first time since the FIRST picture (where I weighed 152) and they were practically falling off of me. And these jeans were TIGHT on be before! Now I look like a total slob wearing them because they are so baggy lol

ohh AND another compliment today :D well, sort of. the girl I work with told me that when her fiance came in to work today (he pops in randomly just to see her) he said to her, "did your receptionist lose some weight?" LOL i'm glad people are starting to notice!!! i mean no one's really saying anything other than my mom and you guys here!!! i wish my friends would say something to me! jeez! but i know it's not that they don't notice maybe they just don't want to say anything. anyway it doesn't matter, and it shouldn't, it's just always nice to know that people notice! ya know? lol OKAY that is all!!!

i'm going to the movies to see New Moon in a little bit... YAY!!!

Goodnight!

Thank you :) :) I don't think I could possibly have waited that long to see New Moon.... it kicked Twilight's ass times ten and then some. It was SO much better, and Kristen's acting is WAY more believable. Not to mention I just melted every time Jacob's hot bod was on the screen :drool5: Kristen Stewart is one lucky girl let me tell ya!!!

lol POST A PIC!!! I love pictures! Who doesn't? Isn't that why you look at magazines?? You don't really read, you're just there for the pictures! Or at least that's how I am :) lol

Ok I'm seriously on a high after seeing that movie... idk what it is... I think there are subliminal messages in these movies that brainwash people. It's just nuts. I am definitely seeing that in theaters again. And again. And probably again.

Oh and I shared popcorn with my friend and even ate a box of cookie dough bites at the theater. *GO ME* and now my tummy HATES me and doesn't feel good :( yeah.... whatever! Had to enjoy it... workin' out hard tomorrow for sure!

OKAY, goodnight :D

Sara,
Gald to hear you loved the movie, I have to go see it now! It makes the movie even better when you get to share popcorn and candy ha ha.
I was thinking of posting a before and after picture of myself. I just have to figure out how to do it?
Well have a great day and tty later!

Ahhhhhh Saturday :) The sun is shining, the birds are chirping. Okay, maybe there aren't birds chirping, I don't really know. But it makes the fact that the sun is shining sound better :D

So I felt quite bloated last night after my little cinematic adventure and party with popcorn and candy! This morning I did a 2 mile run, then I did 10 one-minute intervals switching from running @ 6.5 mph (for the first 5 sets) and @ 7.0 mph (for the second 5 sets) and walking @ 4.0 mph in between runs. I walked it out to 4 miles and did my floor exercises after. Feeling good now :)

I had sugar free oatmeal for breakfast and a piece of toast with peanut butter. Now I just got myself a small coffee and I'm chillin' at work :D Can't wait for today to be over! I'm going shopping after I get outta here :p Not that I need to.... but I NEED to... ya know? It's a girl thing :D

Awww man, I can't believe it's Sunday already! :( The weekends go by too fast.

Yesterday was NOT a good day for me... the workout in the morning was great but I ate like complete crap, stopping at Taco Bell because I needed something "quick" and also stopping at Culvers later because I wanted ice cream. Didn't necessarily "need" anything quick like Taco Bell, and didn't really "want" that ice cream... I gave in just because.

This morning I weighed myself just to check, and I was 140.4 .... I'm not taking this number to heart because I know much weight can fluctuate, but I wasn't really upset by it at all. I knew what I did this weekend - I knew I snacked, I knew I made bad food choices, I knew I didn't need to eat at Taco Bell or Culvers. But I did.

I didn't gain a whole bunch of weight.
I didn't skip my workouts.
I completed each workout that I had planned for myself,
I didn't sell myself short of that.
I didn't feel bad after everything "wrong" that I ate.

I looked at myself in the mirror this morning and thought to myself, "I look great."

And on that note, the weekend comes to an end... and I'm ready to take on this week full force. It's a really nice day today, so I'm planning on going for a run when I get back to my house on campus. The forecast for the rest of the week is rain and snow (really?!?) so I better enjoy this weather while I can.

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend... I'll check back later with you guys. Lots to do today!
~ Sarah

With that body you better be thinking happy thoughts to yourself in the mirror :D

I was saying to my husband yesterday... for a long time now, I would get dressed up or even just put effort into my outfit and be thinking I looked really good. Walking around with confidence and such. Then, I would catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and be completely horrified that I tried to wear "that"!! Lately, I catch myself stoping to check myself out b/c I look so good. Nice feeling eh?!?!

Ready for a kick ass week??? Let the games begin :D

Definitely ready!!! :) This weekend was a bust with all the junk food I ate, and my body is so feeling it! You and Lisa gotta help me keep it together!!! I need you guys this week!!!

This morning I ran 3 miles at the gym, then walked on incline for 5 minutes and cooled down. Did my abs and stretched. Feeling pretty good. For breakfast I had 2 eggs scrambled, toast, and oatmeal (350 cals).

I did take advantage of the beautiful weather here yesterday and ran my 5K outside. The run I do outside is actually 3.2 miles... and a 5K is 3.107 miles (but who's counting? :p) so I'm not sure how long it took me to run the real 5K but I finished my run in about 28 minutes... 3 minutes faster than my first and second run out there! I LOVE running outside... I'm so upset the weather is going to take a turn for the worse real soon :(

Well, I've got 2 exams AND a very important paper that I have been putting off for 3 weeks that I must finish today because it's due tomorrow at 9:30 AM... oh joy! Today is going to be wonderful...

Time to check some journals around here :)

Nice work on the runs! Thanks for the info on 5km only being 3.1 something - that's why I have been going 3.2 miles on the treadmill because I thought it was 5km but now I can go a little less - just kidding but it's nice to know, I just never did the math before.
I was feeling really good this morning but I just had a little break down and am stressing out a little and the vending machine downstairs has been calling my name all morning - it wants me to buy chocolate and my mind is saying no but my body is saying yes and then my mind starts to say yes too and then I just get sad.

Oh, I totally indulged this weekend too ;) Chips Sat night... Cheesecake (just a sliver ;) ) and red wine (1glass) last night... and it was SOOOOO good. Savored every little bite. Chugged the wine though (was in a mood). But like you've said before. If your constantly depriving yourself, your so much more likely to binge. Therefore, we should feel good about our little indulgances. They are actually helping us along the way!!!

Doesn't it just feel amazing when you beat you time?!?! I read someone on here saying that if you run on an incline of 2-3 all winter it's much easier to pick it up outside in the spring. I've been trying to make sure I alway run a couple of min each time on 3.0... it's hard :p

So with your Thanksgiving this week, does that mean you get Thurs and Fri off?!?!?

Good luck on your exams :)

Good morning!!!

Last night I had a snack attack. I don't know what it is with me lately but I'm always wanting SOMETHING and it's always at night!!! Grrr. After a healthy of chicken and mixed veggies, I wanted to eat something sweet. I decided to eat a 10 cal sugar free jello and figured that would tie me over. Nope. Not sweet enough. So I ate a strawberry yogurt chex mix 100 cal pack. A little later I ate a rice cake with peanut butter. That's where it FINALLY ended...

I HAVE to stay on track today. No room for slip ups right now. I already had my chance this weekend to indulge, I can't continue it throughout the week or it will become a habit.

This morning I ran one mile on the treadmill in 9 minutes and 30 seconds. Then I did the elliptical with resistance and incline for 15 minutes, and the bike for 15 minutes as well. I wanted to do intervals on the treadmill but my shin started hurting pretty bad so I had to stop. I gotta ice them and stretch good today and hopefully hit up the treadmill hard tomorrow morning.

I just had a bowl of cereal with skim milk and a banana for breakfast. I am satisfied. I'm going to plan out my meals for the day so my eating doesn't get out of wack. Oh, and I need to drink water!! I barley had any yesterday.

Check ya later!
~ Sarah

I totally know what you mean about the snacks - I always want something too! I forgot in my journal to mention I had some peanuts last night that my hunnie got for his birthday - the kind that are covered in sugar. They are so good and so addicting. After a couple handfuls my hunnie grabbed them from me and put them in the cupboard - high enough so I can't reach him - I do love him!
That sucks about the shin splints - can honestly say I have no idea what that feels like.
I really need to up my water intake as well - this weekend and yesterday were bad for that.
Thanks for the post yesterday - it was really funny and totally made me feel better. Men are just frustrating sometimes - sorry men but it's true. I know I can drive my hunnie crazy too so we have that in common.
Do you have plans for Thanksgiving?

If your not drinking enough water that could be your problem. When you get the snack attack, and your truely not hungry, drink a large glass of water. The first couple of times I did it, it honestly sucked (seriously... water instead of chocolate... you've got to be kidding), but now it works nicely. I take my big glass full with me after supper so I don't have to go and get it, walking by the fridge and cupboards.

I've also been finding that when I get the snack attack if I go straight for what it is that I'm craving, I can have a little and be done with it. If I try to "trick" myself with something else... I make several trips to the cupboard :p

Hope the shins feel better!! Have a fabulous day :D

I seem to want to snack at night also. I usually try to drink a glass of water then go from there. If the water doesn't help I reach for a yogurt. Sometimes I will have a half of a sweet potato (if it's not to late at night). That helps me with my sweet cravings. But you don't need much advice you have did a great job. Keep up the good work. I hope you did well on your midterms. I just finished 2 my self. I am ready for a break.
