I managed more reps here than I did a couple of weeks back and there was no pain in the shoulder so the ibroprofen and ice must be working. Still not ready to go heavy again though I imagine

This is great, the reps are going up and I'm heavier too, I weighed in at 218lbs on Saturday although I think I was overhydrated and in need of some waste disposal but I'm still significantly heavier than I was in August when I was weighing about 200-205 and struggled to do 3x10

on the knee, when something like that happens I think it is good to ice it, then the fluid wont build up, and the blood will start running their to fix it up
 
It was meant to be squats day today but with my knee still hurting I didn't want to do anything heavy so instead focused more on keeping my stance close and dropping the weight to do box squats.

I used a bench as the box and did 4x10@ 220. Box squats amaze me at how much the knock the **** out of you compared to regular squats

Back to box squats today, I'm starting to really love these, don't know why I haven't done them more in the past. I upped the weight to 242lbs for 3x10 today, I think it helps that the bench I use as a box is below parallel for me, it's helping me massively on squat depth

I also added in some ab work at the end of the session today which I never do usually but I really need to start paying more attention to my core and getting more in shape generally
 
Damn, just got into work and the lunch I left here last night for today has been eaten!!! I now have no food for at least 2 hours until I leave for a meeting :(

My stomach is eating itself and I've been losing weight recently which shouldn't be happening, I keep falling straight to sleep after getting home from work and therefore missing some evening meals, bugger

Oh yeah, and for training yesterday:

Not happy about weight loss but according to my BF% and weight I've gained about 5lbs in muscle since the start of August which isn't bad

Arghh!! Been so busy today I've had no time to post training, deadlift day today though and got up to 374lbs without breaking anything so I'm getting that back up again.

Off to look at FF pulling up trees now :)

East coast USA for me 7:30 am.....you’re already on the weekend!!! And I’m at work. Typon is probably eating lunch if nobody pushed him over and took it from the little guy.
 
Hehehe funny. Yeah already the weekend. I was home from work sick today - somehow I managed to get tonsilitis. How exciting. And I work with children!
