First off let me introduce myself. I'm Male, almost 22. I'm 5'5" roughly. This is already my second week exercising/eating better again. I've done it before, but probably due to the lack of support like the one you can get in this forum I have stopped. Well I've gained around 30 lbs give or take since starting college a year ago and would like to loose that plus a little more.
I started this "quest" at 187lbs. and this is my second week and I've already lost 4 lbs... sounds exciting. I've been drinking a great deal of water. Trying to eat healthier. I say trying because I currently eat at my dorm's cafeteria, the food is OK but I know it could be better. During the summer I'll cook for myself because there is no cafeteria service and we'll see how that goes and I'll probably cook next Fall if everything goes fine. So I haven't been able to count calories as of now because of that but I've stayed away from the junk food, so that's good.
Eventually I'd like to start doing some weight training to build up a bit, not big and buff but just define muscles and look HOT.. haha. I don't know if I should wait until I loose a bit more of weight or if I should start now.
I'm also eating 5 times per day. Raisin Bran with Milk for Breakfast (Good fiber). Kellogg's Corn Flakes for Dinner. A little bit of a heavier lunch, usually Salad, Soup and an Entree. Then I have a granola bar for first snack and some sort of fruit strawberries or grapes.
This is a rough sketch of my current workout, which I'm trying to do at least 5 times per week.
