Indigoiis Diary

So this morning I did the stationary bike 30 mins. It's been awhile since I've been on that thing.
But boy, being on the regular bike has really gotten me in shape, because I just blew that stationary bike away. I did 15 rounds of HIIT.

1 sl. Whole wheat toast with 1 tbsp natural peanut butter
1/2 grapefruit

apple

greens from my garden
1 tbsp Newman's vineagrette
1/2 cup cottage cheese
2 wasa crispbread

4 oz yogurt

pizza with everything - 3-4 slices
diet coke

About 1600-1800 cals today.

Maintained the same weight for five weeks, but lost one pants size.

I'm wearing a size 5/6 pair of Diesel jeans today from my ugly smoking/drinking past (when I'd replace meals with a beer and three or four cigarettes)... feeling pretty good that it's been hard work that put me here instead of neglect. I'm glad I kept these jeans.

Because I haven't lost any pounds in the past month (even though I've toned and lost inches), and I think I could lose a couple more, I am going to more closely monitor my calories on fitday (which I had stopped using since it got tedious) for the next few weeks... not necessarily reduce, but just make sure I am staying at maintenance.

Today I did weights. I am progressing with them - I feel a lot stronger.
I did the barn beam thing too - 20 seconds.

Fried egg on whole wheat/flax bread
Cranberry juice - 1 cup - 260 cals

banana 125 cals

spinach wrap with cheese - 350 cals
carrots 50 cals

4 oz yogurt 110 cals
almonds - 1 oz 164 cals

1 slice meatloaf 230 cals
2 cups homegrown salad with 1 tbsp balsamic vinagrette 50 cals
rice with beans - 1 cup 300 cals
ice cream - 1.5 cup 400 cals

Wow.
I can see now why I haven't lost anything in a month... it's so easy to go over maintenance. My maintenance right now is 2025 a day. I exercize about 250 cals a day. But with this "typical" day above, I've gone well over -- about 2200 cals. Interesting.

Maybe I'll skip the ice cream or the rice. The brunt of the cals are at dinnertime. Hm.
