India's diary

Hello India~
Hope you are feeling better today. :biggrinjester:
Don't get to bored with staying home. Soon enough your life will be back on track and you will wonder where all the time went.
Catch ya later~:biggrinjester:

Today I feel much better. My face isn't so bloated anymore and I don't feel as sleepy as the last two days.
The doctor said I could go out for a walk today (yay!) and in the afternoon the bf is taking me to buy new running shoes. I can't wait. He promised to come running with me as soon as I feel better. I'm not sure he really will, but the offer was sweet just the same.

Ahh I'm glad to see you're feeling better already. Isn't it great to feel better. Its like a veil lifting. Enjoy those new running shoes. What a treat.

Yes, it is!

I love my new shoes. They're pink and grey and they're soooo comfortable. I also bought a shirt especially to go running. I can't wait to feel better enough to go have a good run. (that is a fast walk for the moment, with maybe some minutes run).:smilielol5:

Its so fun to get new stuff like that!! It a great motivator too!!

Have fun on your walk! I'm going to take one today too cause its pretty warm/sunny out. Being out in the fresh air always makes me feel great!!!!

Glad you're feeling a bit better!!!

Weekend are always a danger for my diet. On Sunday night an incredible amount of people showed up to see how I was doing after the surgery. Very sweet people. Literally. They brought tons of candy, chocolate, cakes, etc. I have now on my kitchen table enough candy to host a 200 kids Halloween party. Very tempting.
I'm not going to give in though. I'm planning to give them all away as soon as possible. I have a lot of little cousins and nephews who are going to love me for being on a diet.

Of course, I ate some of those delicious things yesterday. But today is back on track again, since I can now eat almost normally.

The good thing about yesterday is that I found a running buddy. My friend Sabrina is going to come with me. :D My boyfriend was even happier than me since he never was a big fan of this running thing. He had offered to come with me only out of kindness.

3rd week

I can't believe I actually made it to three weeks. :beerchug:When I started I was pretty demotivated. Let's hope I can get to the end of this!

This week has been quite fast, with the surgery and everything. Now I can eat everything as usual, so it'll be easier to keep track of my cals. I also can start planning my meals again, which is very helpful! When I know what I'm going to eat it seems that the cravings diminish.

The weigh in today was very successful: 83.5!

I've lost 2lbs :D I'm hugging myself b/c I'm very proud! :hug2: I'm very near to my first goal which was losing 5 kg (11lbs). I divided my total weight-loss into three mini goals of 5kg each. This way it looks easier. :) When I reach my first goal (by V.Day I'd say) I'll buy myself something nice to wear. And for Vday the bf is taking me to a super fancy restaurant, so that'll be my reward!

I'm looking forward to start running. I'm waiting for the doctor to say I can. He said next week should be allright.

Will be back with my menu later.

:waving::waving:

Congrats on losing two pounds. Me too!

I'll think of you because I'm mixing a little running with my walking too.

Yea get rid of all that candy - the longer it sits there, or at least hide it in another room until you can get rid of it.

My menu for today:

breakfast: milk soy and biscuits
snack: fruit
lunch: 90 gr pasta with tomato sauce + ham + lettuce
snack: fruit
dinner: 90 gr bread + fish + salad

Yea, India!!! Good job on losing the 2 lbs and avoiding the candy!! I agree with HappyChubette: GET RID OF IT!! I'm so glad that you are healing so well and feeling ready to run again. You made it through a major hurdle!!

Its funny how people always bring sweets!! Its just the easiest!! I do it too!

 Arrgghh! Too many stupid people around today. I'd like to bang their head on the table, or on any other sufficiently hard surface at hand. They're driving me crazy! :willy_nilly:

I'm sorry just needed to vent.

Talk to you all later.

That is right, You should be very proud!! Way to go on the 2 lbs loss!! You will be at your first mini-goal in no time which in turn will give you even more motivation to keep on going to reach the second mini-goal!!
Happy to hear, everything is back to normal after the surgery, and just ignore the stupid people!!!
have a great day
Hajni

Thanks Hajni!

Today a collegue of mine really got me mad. She said that it was inacceptable that I didn't go to work the day after the surgery. Can someone be more stupid than this???

Anyway, good day food-wise, didn't let the anger get in the way.

Breakfast: 3 slices of toasted bread + soy milk
snack: apple + plum
lunch: 90 gr pasta + radish sauce (yummy) + hamburger
snack: clementines
dinner: 90 gr bread + 60 gr spek + salad

Got to go now, will be posting in your diaries tomorrow.
ciao!

Bad bad bad weekend. I over-ate and the result is 1 kg more. I hope it's just food weight and that it will go down with some exercise and controlling what I eat.

This week's going to be hectic so I'll not be online often.

A hug to everyone!

I doubt you could have taken in an extra 3500 calories over the weekend. I'm sure it's just food or water weight. *crossing my fingers for you*

Hi Cutie-India!!

I'm sorry people have beens jerks to you latly... I know how you feel.. I want to bash people's heads in often!!

I'm sure you'll get back on track. We all have a off weekend here and there! Sometimes I think a splurge day is almost beneficial to dieting every once in a while!

Hope you have a great day!!
