Increased strength- result

Last night I bench pressed 28kg dumbell's on each arm for the first time thanks to my new routine.

Only 3 weeks ago I was struggling with 24kg's, so I am definately seeing an improvement.

This may not be alot of weight to you guys but to me its a huge increase to me,and one which left my grinning like no-ones business last night when I finished my 3 sets of 6 reps with them. Felt like He-man putting them back into the rack triumphantly !!

Nice job! Doesnt it just make your day, or even your week when you set a PR you have been struggeling for?
 
Awesome! I could definitely use some tips on how you got so much stronger. Have you been in a caloric deficit, because that's how I plan to do my program to make sure that I don't gain any fat.
 
I am following a full body work out devised with a bit a help from R.Lewis.

3 different workouts

1 day of 3 sets of 6 at heaviest weight you can manage per excerice.
1 day of 3 sets of 8 at 90% weight
1 day of 5 sets of 15 at 60% weight.

Nothing really spectaular on the diet, but i have been around 150 - 200 calories up per day (using calorieconnect.com to measure this). And generaly been eating healthy with 2 -3 bad meals a week (I can't resisit my Sunday night Indians)

Haven't quite got round to the 6 meals a day routine yet, but I am trying to get into that habit.
