Increase fitness, without loosing weight?

I’m 19, very slim and very tall (6’3) so I don’t do much exercise as I don’t want to burn calories. I do weights at home now and again but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Because I’m afraid of burning more calories, I’m quite unfit. I played tennis the other week and I ached for days. Then I played bowling the other day and my calf muscle is in pain as well as my bowling arm equivalent of the calf muscle. I’m hobberling about and this is the final straw. I should be playing sports, I’m 19, but being abnoramally slim I’m worried I’ll get even slimmer. Is there anyway anyone can think I couls get a bit more healthy without getting thinner? Also, is there anything you can buy that increases your appetite; I get full very easy and this doesn't help.

Thanks,

Rob

Rob,

Eat more. Seriously. You have a fast metabolism, so you don't gain muscle because you don't have extra calories leftover from what you need to live.

Browse the site mainly the men's section, nutrition and weightlifting areas. you'll probably need to ramp up to 7 meals a day to get the calories you need.

The kinds of food you eat are probably not so great either. lots of empty calories that fill you up, but don't really provide the sustinence your body requires (hence, you feel tired a lot).
