Hey everyone. I'm just posting an update to let you all know how I'm doing. I've been losing weight since about the end of April, but most recently I've set goals of 5 lbs per month from the start of August. I'm proud to announce that I'm only 3 lbs from my goal weight for... September! I'm a whole month ahead of schedule.

Here are some shots from the beginning as well as the ones I just took.

All in all I've lost about 22 pounds. Sadly, my waist doesn't reflect it much. Go ahead and tell me what you think though.

I can see a HUGE difference, waist, chest, face, everywhere. You're doing excellent!! Keep goin strong!

Just a quick update for everyone to let you know how I'm doing. As I've stated earlier, I am on a plan to lose 5 lbs a month until I'm at goal weight. Seeing as I surpassed my goal weight for August, I adjusted my September weight from 216 to 211. The other day I weighed in at 213 and it's not even halfway through the month. In addition, yesterday and today I've run a combined total of 8.5 miles and I know for a fact that if I went into the gym and weighed I'd be beneath my goal for the month.

Anyway, I honestly felt thinner this morning as I'm sure I will tomorrow too, and my stomach showed it by being at nearly a 38, and my hips at a 39"!

Lastly, I don't know how I've done it, but I eat an extremely low amount every day and I never starve. In fact, I'm quite full. Today's calories were around 1200, but after the run, only 500! With a BMR/RMR of at least 2400, I'm losing nearly half a pound a day (mathematically speaking). I feel great, and I'll post up some new photos at the end of the month.
 
Sounds like youre making good progress! However, 1200 calories at 215 sounds awful to me, I wouldnt be able to eat that little food, I'm at 176lbs and still eat around 1900kcal a day.

Do you have a goal weight btw?
 
My goal weight is sort of a "I'll know it when I get there" type thing. But, if I had to give it a number, I'm thinking of about 175-180. I'm 5'11.5", so I don't want to drop too much.

As far as eating very little goes, I never go hungry. I just pick healthy foods and if I get the urge to snack before dinner time I have an enormous glass of water and it quenches it.
