I'm just putting it all out there now!

I'm not sure how to start...but I'm just going to throw out the basics!

Starting weight: 160 lbs.
Goal weight:130 lbs.
Starting date: December 1, 2008
Goal date: March 1, 2009

What has me motivated: I have put on about 20 lbs since getting out of the military in March. Now, instead of a uniform, I have to wear "civilian" clothes every day...and mine don't fit! I feel sluggish, tired, and uncomfortable. My son, bless his heart, has made a couple comments that really hurt. He is 4!

My biggest struggle: Of course, eating healthy. I give in when I see everyone around me eating whatever they want! Working out isn't too hard because I have an elliptical at home and some weights, but I need to switch it up..I get bored easily! I want to go back to the gym...but its difficult with my son.

My plan: I want to drop my son off at school, then go work out at the gym 3 times a week. I can do the elliptical on the other 3, then have one day of rest.
Eating: I want to plan my meals and snacks out in advance. And i'm thinking about consulting a nutritionist.

Well tomorrow will be my first post about what I did/ate for the day.
 
Being in the military Im sure you know how your body responds to everything cuz Im sure you had to keep it in check...and oh pts and everything, dont they kill you? (i was never in military just have a few friends who are) Well anyways plan meals in advance and stick to your work out routine and you'll get there. Its not going to happen over night obvisouly cuz you didnt put it on over night, but yea...im rambling now. But WELCOME! and enjoy your stay, any questions ask around. Sounds like you got a pretty good plan already laid out for yourself.
