I am aiming to be 55kg by March 2010 before my Year 11 (Or 10th Grade) school photographs. I am currently around 80kg and 5”5 but planning to buy scales in the near future to show progress. However I'll also show body measurements as these more accurately depict how I am losing fat and becoming healthier.

My diet is unhealthy but mainly because of a lack of fruit and veg and huge amounts of fat. I've adapted it to my entire ability but I can't strictly control what my mother attempts to feed me at dinnertime as there's nothing else to make. So I'll just eat tiny portions and bug her to make healthier food - or make my own and burn the kitchen down.





What is your current height and weight?
5"5 and 80kg

If you were at an ideal weight now, what would that weight be?
50kg but it might be unhealthy and very hard to maintain so I'm sticking to 55kg

At what weight would you like to be at four months from now?
65kg


Why do you want to lose weight?
I have twenty reasons, I wrote them down to motivate myself

Do you want to lose weight for a specific life event such as wedding or reunion? If so, when is that event?
School Photo in March 2010 so my mother doesn't have a fat picture of me

What lifestyle changes do you think would help you lose weight?
Exercise and proper diet and learning how to deal properly with cravings and desires.


Have you lost weight in the past? If so, what has worked in the past to help you lose weight?
I dropped a dress size last year but lost motivation as peers started to reject me again.

What, if anything, has not worked for you in the past in helping you to lose weight? Why do you think it did not work?
Starving myself, I need exercise to increase my naturally low metabolism so it matches up to the average one.

Would you try writing down all food and drink consumed for a given period of time?
Yes, it would make me feel guilty if I ate too much

What are your three favorite foods?
Cookies, Chicken Fried Rice and Lollipops/Candy in general

What are your three favorite restaurants?
Chinese, Kebab :)P) and McDonalds - my family has been too poor to afford anything else

If you woke up tomorrow and your body was exactly the way you want it, what would be different?
I'd feel really really happy and confident and would want to make more friends and buy new clothes.

Do you eat when you are not hungry?
Yes, but tends to be during Christmas and other long holidays

Do you binge eat (large amounts at a time)?
Have done when I was younger, it got me fat, but I tend not to anymore.

Do you eat when you are sad, nervous, or depressed?
Yes

Do you eat as a reward?
If I've finished a long essay or something I really hated doing

Do you eat while watching TV or using the computer?
Rarely but tend to when I'm depressed

What do you normally eat for a meal?
Pasta, Pie, Pizza, Chilli, Fajitas and etc.

What type of snacks do you eat?
Crisps/Bread but sticking to crackers, apples and pickles/picked onions.

In terms of exercise, what, if anything, are you currently doing? Around 1 hours and 20 minutes on average. Walking/Dancing/Cardio in Gym/Weights


Where do you go for exercise? A local public gym? School/work gym? Home?
What, if anything, are your three favorite types of exercise?

I go to the school gym which is only open twice a week and my favorite exercise there is the crosstrainer as it stretches me but not the extent of the treadmill.

What is your daily/weekly/monthly/yearly motivation to move towards your goals?

I have a list of reasons on my bedroom and fridge wall to motivate me daily. I keep positive to avoid comfort eating and plan to reward myself if I lose weight.

Do you have rewards for certain goals?
When I get to my target weight, I will buy myself an expensive outfit and make-up which I desperately need.
 


First Day – Tuesday

Exercise:
Walked Briskly for 2 hours, I had band at school so had to walk home and back.


Diet:
Bowl of Cereal for Breakfast

A wholemeal bun with a slice of lean beef and a packet of low-fat crisps about 90 calories

Homemade grilled turkey burger with wholemeal bun with baked potato and colesaw.



I'm very tired :p My legs are aching and I want to sleep. -.-
 
Second Day: Wednesday -

Diet:
1 Small Bowl of Cereal
Wholemeal bun with chicken and spinach inside
Cottage Pie
Two breadsticks (44 calories) - I was starving when I came back from the gym and drinking water did nothing


Exercise:
10 Min Crosstrainer (fast jogging pace)
15 Min Bike
11 Min Rowing Machine
14 Min Weights
1hr Walking to and from school


Overall, I feel great but my knee feels a little funny, good thing I'm only dancing and walking tomorrow. I think I've overcoming my comfort eating with my positive attitude.

 
Third Day: Thursday

Diet:
1 Small Bowl of Cereal
Wholemeal Bun with Beef slice
Duck Fillet with three roast potatoes and carrots and peas
3 Breadsticks



Exercise:
30 Minutes walking
10 Min Crosstrainer
10 Min Rowing
5 Min Weights




Today I fell three times on black ice and grazed my legs very badly. I also hurt my already aching knee. So I got picked up my mother. I feel like I failed because I didn't walk home but I couldn't :(

Sorry you hurt yourself - I understand England has been having a heckuva winter this year. Black ice is so dangerous! Don't feel like a failure simply because you needed to take a break from exercising this once. Just make sure that it is absolutely a part of your daily routine.

You are also right to simply eat smaller portions when your Mum cooks something you know is not the healthiest. Do work on getting in loads of fruit & veg, whole grains, and of course, PROTEIN. Very, very important.

Fourth and Fifth Day - Friday and Saturday:

Diet on Friday:
Bowl of Cereal
Sandwich (salad and chicken)
Homemade Chow Mein

Exercise:
15 minutes of cardio


Diet on Saturday:
Sandwich (beef and salad)
Pea and Ham Soup



On Saturday, I started getting gastroenteritis and been hopping to toilet and back since. I've just been drinking tons of water and eating some more Pea and Ham Soup if I feel hungry as it's one of the only things that I keep down. At least, I lose weight from my illness xD
