Hey Boxer,

How much weight do you still need to loose?

You look great my friend...if that's you in the picture. But if you meant staying fit while in cast...then I don't think your arms aren't able to maintain some light exercises...legs as well.

Stay on a balance healthy diet for fast recovery...

I can recommend a nutritional supplement that is use by Olympian Athletes in Europe and Australia (they beat the competition without illegal drugs)...even Farrah Faucet, Magic Johnson has been taking this as their secret supplement to stay fit.

Good luck...

come on im serious.

Seriously, with your leg in a cast, you'll be restricted to upper body exercises and activities for the most part. Wheeling yourself in a wheelchair is an obvious one, as well as upper body weight training.

I would advise you not to diet too strictly while your bones are healing! You need plenty of calcium and protein for your body to repair itself. If you insist on losing weight, please take vitamins with extra calcium AND vitamin D. (You can't absorb calcium well without the vitamin D.) Best of luck, and I wish you a speedy recovery.

This is a great page to find nutritional information:

Wheelchair and hand ergo, with limited upper body resistance training is really all you'll be able to do.

Losing/keeping weight off of you is really going to be dependent on proper diet while you're out with your cast.
